On July 14th SIG SAUER cut the ribbon and threw open the doors of the all-new SIG Experience Center (SEC). The SEC is located at the same campus as the SIG SAUER Academy in Epping, New Hampshire. The Grand Opening concluded the two-year project to build a facility where shooters could come and enjoy total immersion in the Sig community.
The new SIG Experience Center includes a huge flagship store, a 30-position indoor shooting range, the SIG SAUER Museum, and the members-only 1751 Club. The store has a huge selection of Sig firearms, scopes, suppressors, and accessories. The number of barrels, grip modules, magazines, and red dot optics there for your Sig pistols is truly amazing. In addition to the Sig products, there are many additional selected items from top-level manufacturers.
It’s tough to fully appreciate how many firearms models Sig now offers until you see all of them in the wall cases around the shop. While wandering the store it’s hard not to stop by the Black Rifle Coffee counter and get a boost from the iconic coffee company. The pristine range has a wide variety of SIG firearms that can be rented, so you can try before you buy.
To fully appreciate the SIG Experience, the museum is a must-see. The information and displays illustrate the milestones from the founding in 1751 to the latest products. On another wall of the museum are the firearms and military contract awards that SIG has won. Those firearms have changed the capabilities of our forces and our allies.
SIG SAUER’s operations in the US have grown from around 100 employees in 2004, to over 3000. On the M17/ M18 military pistol contract alone, Sig has delivered over 400,000 pistols. However, SIG’s market isn’t limited to just the USA, it is also the largest small arms exporter in the United States. The next big step in the military market is SIG’s delivery of the Next Generation Squad Weapons.
The grand opening was attended by many state and local officials, law enforcement officers, first responders, and the Governor of Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson. So, right now you’re asking why an Arkansas Governor is there? Well, he is part of the SIG growth story. He successfully lobbied for SIG to build its ammunition in Arkansas, and that is now one of the 11 facilities they have across three states.
Over the last decade SIG SAUER has grown significantly; winning military contracts and taking the consumer market by storm with the P320 and the #1 selling pistol in America, the P365. Listening to SIG’s president Ron Cohen speak of the company’s path forward; I expect there are many more great things to come.
Though not a part of the SIG Experience Center, a tour of the SIG manufacturing plant illuminated the dedication to quality control, efficiency, and rapid production. Everyone in the process had the same forward-leaning attitude Mr. Cohen had expressed. The in-house range allows for testing firearms as they are completed before even being boxed up for shipping.
Along with the great firearms, the SIG Experience Center and SIG SAUER Academy now make Epping NH a destination stop for the serious shooter; stop-in shoot, shop, and train, and Portsmouth is a great town to visit, full of history, and great food

I would love to visit this place one day I’m really into gun competition and gunsmith
Since I am not a resident of New Ham Hampshire would I be arrested for bringing my guns to shoot at the range? Plus the states I would have to drive through would put me at risk of becoming a felon for entering the state with my weapons. Love my SIG but hard pass. They need to move to a free state.
New Hampshire is constitutional carry. You’d have no problem at all there.
Why did build that in the northeast in the middle of gun control nuts.
New Hampshire is a constitutional carry state. No problem there at all. You’re thinking of Massachusetts. No sales tax either.
Forget Disney World and all of its woke B.S.! Visit the all-new SIG Experience Center instead!!
