Operation Jade Helm 15 has stirred up quite the fuss on the interwebs. Depending on what you’ve read or heard you may be wondering whether it is part of a larger conspiracy to disarm law-abiding citizens or whether it is just a multi-state training program for 1,200 elite operators of the U.S. military?
I won’t pretend to have an answer to that question because, honestly, I’m not sure what it is. So, you are free to judge and decide for yourself.
For those of you who fear it is a government conspiracy to institute martial law or confiscate firearms, perhaps you can find just a bit of solace in the fact that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is using his available resources to monitor the training exercise that is set to kickoff on July 15 and last through Sept. 15.
“To address concerns of Texas citizens and ensure that Texas communities remain safe, secure and informed about military procedures occurring in their vicinity, I am directing the Texas State Guard to monitor Operation Jade Helm 15,” Abbott wrote in a letter to the commander of the Texas Guard this week.
“During the training operation, it is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights, and civil liberties will not be infringes, ” Abbott continued. “By monitoring the Operation on a continual basis, the State Guard will facilitate communications between my office and the commanders of the Operation to ensure that adequate measures are in place to protect Texans.”
Jade Helm training exercises will take place in five states, according to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, those will include: Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado.
For what it’s worth, on Monday, a spokesperson for the command told a gathering of concerned citizens in Bastrop County, Texas, that Jade Helm would not cause any problems for the public, emphatically suggesting that it is not an assault on one’s Constitutionally-protected rights.
“All I want to makes sure is that our guys are trained for combat overseas. That is it,” Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria told the group. “For this and for the training tasks at hand, you need large rural area with access to towns as well, because we have to practice some of the logistics that go along with it.”
Lt. Col. Lastoria also dismissed claims that Jade Helm was part of an Obama administration conspiracy to institute martial law.
“You may have issues with the administration. So be it. But this institution right here has been with you for over 200 years,” he was quoted as saying, according to the Austin American-Statesman. “I’ve worn this uniform across five different administrations for 27 years.”

After more than a year and a half … Jade Helm was never shut down.
Where were all the “Returning” equipment and munitions trains ??? Where were all the “Returning” troop convoys ??? We certainly saw an awful lot of them fanning out into the South Western states when they deployed … and yet, not a single news story about the termination and return to barracks when the “exercise” supposedly ended.
I don’t wavier into the conspiracy 100% however anyone with any common sense that has followed current events especially since obamisim took over, well let’s just say I’d rather be prepared and not need to be, then caught with my pants down! I can appreciate that Governor Abbott did, he at least he is letting Texan citizens know, ok, we’ll keep an eye on things!

Do you have the clinical skills and are licensed to employ such skills to determine the sanity of another person? Or are you also expressing your own opinion?
Do you know factually and truthfully the veracity of what he’s claiming? I don’t, but I am not berating him and then going out on a limb to exclaim that “sane” gun owners don’t think this way.
Not everything everyone believes is wrong or right. One must filter the available information, and commonly, the truth only comes out at the end.

While at the Bastrop, Tx public meeting Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria was asked the question if he had any knowledge of “Agenda 21”?
Col. Lastoria’s answer was he did not have any knowledge of “Agenda 21” and this is when the group of citizens went into a very disturbed and aggressive state. The meeting ended very shortly thereafter.
