Gov. Andrew Cuomo is in deep, deep trouble.
The Empire State governor is a habitual harasser of women, says an exhaustive 165-page report released on Tuesday by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
James credited independent investigators Joon H. Kim and Anne L. Clark with drafting the report and spearheading the probe into the governor’s shady interactions with women during his three terms in office.
After talking to 179 witnesses and examining some 74,000 pieces of evidence — documents, emails, texts, and pictures — over the past five months, AG James and her team came to an undeniable conclusion.
“This is a sad day for New York because independent investigators have concluded that Governor Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and, in doing so, broke the law,” said Attorney General James in a statement obtained by GunsAmerica.
“I am grateful to all the women who came forward to tell their stories in painstaking detail, enabling investigators to get to the truth,” she continued. “No man — no matter how powerful — can be allowed to harass women or violate our human rights laws, period.”
Cuomo is accused of violating multiple state and federal laws as well as the Executive Chamber’s own written policies, according to James.
In total, 11 women came forward with allegations. Nine of those were either current or former employees and some of the allegations went as far back as 2013.

Cuomo has, of course, denied any wrongdoing.
“I want you to know directly from me that I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances,” Cuomo said in an address on Tuesday.
The governor does not have any plans of resigning from office. But pressure is already mounting as the entire Democratic congressional delegation of New York has called for him to step down.
“The office of Attorney General Tish James conducted a complete, thorough and professional investigation of the disturbing allegations against Governor Andrew Cuomo,” said state Reps. Hakeem Jeffries, Gregory Meeks and Tom Suozzi said, per TheHill.com.
“We commend the brave women who came forward and spoke truth to power. The time has come for Governor Andrew Cuomo to do the right thing for the people of New York State and resign,” the congressmen added.
Cuomo is no friend to the 2A community. Back in 2013, the governor foisted the SAFE Act on the citizens of New York.

A sweeping gun-control law, the SAFE Act significantly curtailed the 2A rights of law-abiding gun owners via unconstitutional registration schemes and misguided prohibitions on commonly owned firearms and accessories.
While at least one piece of the SAFE Act was struck down in federal court, the seven-round magazine capacity restriction, most of it remains intact to this day.

When asked to comment on this breaking news, Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation told GunsAmerica, “Maybe this explains why he [Cuomo] supports anti-gun laws that make it impossible for women to defend themselves.”
Tom King, President of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, also commented on the situation.
“I, of course, have followed the allegations brought against Andrew Cuomo over the past months but have more interest in his abuses of the 2nd Amendment which are rampant since his days in the Clinton Administration,” said King. “Hence our SCOTUS suit NYSRPA v. Corlett.”
If successful, that case would overturn the state’s may-issue standard, which requires one to provide a “proper cause” to bear arms outside the home that can be arbitrarily denied by a judge or CLEO during the permitting process. New York’s may-issue standard relegates the 2A to a second-class right.
Perhaps that why when the high court announced it would hear NYSRPA v. Corlett back in April, Gov. Cuomo resorted to fear tactics, “The streets of New York are not the O.K. Corral and the NRA’s dream of a society where everyone is terrified of each other and armed to the teeth is abhorrent to our values.”
The truth is we don’t need to be armed to protect ourselves from one another, but as Gottlieb suggested, we need to be armed to protect ourselves from those in power, especially unrepentant sexual predators like Gov. Cuomo.

Governor Cuomo must have damning evidence on Hunter and China Joe to incur the wrath of the ENTIRE Democratic Party. The FBI has earned an egregious and deserved reputation for being the Democratic Party’s enforcement arm; and sexual harassment charges, true or not, are unparalleled as a weapon to bring instant disgrace to any powerful man. Cumo is the one who started the spread of corona virus by sending all the infected seniors from hospitals to nursing homes which then caused the virus to spread to other states.
Cumo hates all law abiding gun owners. He constantly passes legislation to make it harder for law abiding to purchase and own firearms.
He makes New York a sanctuary state for illegals giving them benefits and even stimulus checks! They get more money than New Yorkers do, of course New Yorkers get to pay some of the highest taxes too. No wonder do many are moving to Georgia and Florida to escape crime and high taxes.

At first, I am very happy that Cuomo is now under extreme fire and that we will hopefully get rid of him once and for all. Yet, I believe that there is much more behind it and that they just want to get rid of him, because they do not need him anymore, as his “job” is already done, by ruining New York and the citizen’s right to keep and bear arms, while the crime rate is at an alarming level. Call me a conspiracy theorist, if you’d like to, but to me it is very strange that suddenly all of these women come against him at the very same time and some are being said to have been quiet since 2013, yet suddenly they raise their voices all at once. That’s an astounding 8 years for not opening up and I come to the belief (not saying that I definitely know) that this is kind of controlled, by some people behind the curtains with a certain interest. Again, maybe I am wrong, but having to talk to 179 witnesses and examining 79,000 pieces of evidence, as written in this article, is a job that probably needs more than just five months, until this report can be completed. Yet, feel free to correct me, if you’d like, as I am happy to learn of someone else’s opinion about it and I also want to write again that all of these words that I wrote right now are just part of my own opinion.
Now, despite the five months this report needed to be finished, since we have seen these kinds of harassment accusations from women against men in power for a few times already, it should be noted that all of these voices seem to always rise up at the very same time and against the very same person, instead of happening one at a time over a span of at least a few years, before there is a final breakdown and the politician is forced to give up his office. No, it is all like a big wave that comes clashing against the politician that is accused of these actions and that is, at least to me, questionable.
Now, believe me, I am not a conspiracy theorist, nor am I a friend of any man touching women inappropriately or of women touching men inappropriately and I also cannot wait for Cuomo having to leave office either. Yet, maybe now even he has to realize that he was (maybe) just kind of used by others and now they, whoever they are, just do not need him anymore in office, because they now want to take their next step, but do not need Cuomo for this. I do not feel sorry for Cuomo at all, after all the things he has done and that have been rightfully published on Gunsamerica again and again, but I have not many hopes that his successor, whoever it may be, will be any better.
Again, this is just my own opinion to the situation right now. Feel free to correct me, if you think that I am probably mistaken.
Get rid of him? They may install him as President.. Elections are an illusion that give the people the feeling that they have some power. Forget DC. Focus on your LOCAL politicians and sheriffs etc. The only way we stop DC is if at least 75% of the country stops paying ANY tax to the state or IRS.
