Two armed men robbed a Fresno, California, gun store Thursday morning, making off with 13 handguns, reports ABC Action News.
Security footage released by police shows the two crooks running into Fresno Firearms and catching a patron and the owner of off guard minutes after the store opened.
“They then took out some kind of bag or pillow case type object and removed a number of firearms from the business,” said Fresno Police Lt. Jon Papaleo.
Upon exiting the store, they pushed an 85-year-old man to the ground, injuring him. Police say the victim is in critical but stable condition.
“Several witnesses on scene said they believe the individuals were seen leaving the area in a late model white Cadillac,” Lt. Papaleo said. “It was seen going on to Blackstone and drive away southbound Blackstone.”
It goes without saying but hopefully police catch these two scumbags. On another note, this video should serve as evidence to those who believe that universal background checks will keep criminals from obtaining firearms.
In most of the gun stores I frequented when I lived in Louisiana, the people working there were openly armed. I suspect many of the customers were legally carrying, and often one or more of the customers would be police officers, both on and off duty. I don’t think many gun stores there are robbed.
While my heart goes out to the victims of this robbery, I have to think that it would likely not have happened in a state that respected our right to bear arms.
these two fellows are part of the millions of illegals that mr. Obama wants to grant amnesty to. for this reason every responsible real u.s. citizen should be armed at all times. they may have been some of the felony prisoners that Obama recently released from prison because there wasn’t enough room for them along with all of the other hispanic convicts. now they can get money from you and me via the welfare system and have their own apartment from which to operate their stealing business.
