What are your thoughts on the two-tone Luger?

If you’re a fan of FNH USA, you’re in luck. The company is issuing a limited run of 500 two-tone 9mm Luger FNS pistols.

The beautiful pieces of art feature flat dark earth slides coated with the uber-tough physical vapor deposition finish, and the standard “tactical” black grip. The company is excited, and so are we.

“We are excited to release this new, exclusive pistol to FNH USA customers, “ said senior vice president Ken Pfau. “FNH USA strives to manufacture the highest quality products that continue to expand our product line while offering our customers the variety and options they desire.”

The pistols are sans-safety and weigh in at 25 ounces dry, though that number goes up a bit when the 17+1 mags are fully loaded. And the four-inch barrel is more than adequate for accuracy.

One of the things that sets this pistol apart from others the fully ambidextrous controls. We’re not just talking mag releases, but also slide catch levers. This is especially great for left-handed operators and anyone shooting off-hand.

MSRP on the pistol is set at $599, but the real-world price will probably be a bit higher given the exclusivity of the weapons.
