FN America Introduces the FN 15 Guardian: Affordability Meets Premium Quality — NRA 2023

FN America unveiled the FN 15 Guardian, the latest addition to its modern sporting rifle product line, at NRAAM 2023. The FN 15 Guardian combines FN’s battle-tested blueprint with the needs of sport shooters and personal protectors, offering a high-quality, affordable carbine chambered in 5.56.

The Guardian’s Features:

Weighing 6.6 pounds, the FN 15 Guardian boasts a 15-inch M-LOK free-floated aluminum handguard and MIL-B-11595 CMV barrel. These factory-installed upgrades provide exceptional accuracy, customization options, and improved handling.

The FN 15 Guardian is chambered in 5.56x45mm.
The FN 15 Guardian is chambered in 5.56x45mm and features a 16-inch button-broached, hybrid-profile barrel with 1:7 twist finished with the classic A2-style flash hider.

The Guardian has a MIL-SPEC trigger.
The rifle is complete with a single-stage MIL-SPEC trigger that ranges from 4.75 – 7.5 pounds.

The rifle is outfitted with a 15-inch M-LOK® free-floated aluminum handguard.
Chambered in 5.56 and weighing in at 6.6 pounds, the direct-impingement rifle is outfitted with a 15-inch M-LOK® free-floated aluminum handguard and MIL-B-11595 CMV barrel.

Price and Availability:

The FN 15 Guardian has a suggested retail price of $999.00 and comes with one 30-round magazine, an owner’s manual, and unique branded packaging.

The FN 15 series also includes the FN 15 TAC3 and DMR3 rifles, as well as a range of accessories such as upper and lower receivers, barrels, furniture, and magazines.

    “Custom Designed” 30 round magazine- so not interchangeable with standard AR magazines? Then it’s useless really!! A large appeal to the AR platform is the inter-changeability of parts, ESPECIALLY when it comes to magazines. No definitive explanation of the custom aspect here by the author, and that is probably intentional from the author AND manufacturer! I would want to believe the engineers at FN are smarter than this….?
