Hiperfire is bringing the heat this year with their new Hipertouch EClipse trigger. It’s a top-of-the-line AR Trigger. During range day, shooters during range day couldn’t pull the trigger and not smile. The reset is insane and the light break with virtually no takeup would be ideal for any competition shooter or precision rifle shooter.

Another neat addition to the Hiperfire line is the Enhanced Duty Trigger Series. The Enhanced Duty Series is composed of four models and can be adjusted for two different trigger weight, 4.5 pounds and 5.5 pounds.
The Enhanced Duty Sharp Shooter is a single stage curved trigger that is designed for semi-automatic use. It has heavy duty triggers springs that provide a harder hammer strike. The Duty line will run you anywhere from $99 of their base model of the EDT SS Sharp Shooter to $149 for the EDT SF Select Fire. Overall, they Duty line is a tough trigger to beat in its price point for the superb quality.
Not just a trigger company, Hiperfire also offers the Hipercomb muzzle brakes that help mitigate recoil flip and help with recoil reduction. They are aimed at the 3-Gun crowd and come in three version for the .223, 5.56 and 9mm calibers. They will run you about $129.
Pricing
If you’re familiar with the Hipertouch family of triggers, they’re a great addition to any modern sporting rifle and each model is designed to fit all shooters needs. They run from the base model Hipertouch Genesis at $200 to the most recent EClipse at $275.
I currently have a Geissele, Timney, CMC and one of the new Ruger 2-stage AR triggers in my variety of AR-15 – AR-10 rifles, carbines and pistol and can honestly say the Hyperfire (I have a Competition 24-C) is my favorite of them all. It has absolutely zero creep and an extremely crisp 2-1/2 pound let off.
If I had to pick my second favorite AR trigger out of the ones I already own, I would have to be the Timney. Although, like all the others, (except the Hyperfire), it still has a noticeable, yet minimal creep.
That looks like one of those rate of fire increasing devices. Better get one now while they’re still legal.
Maybe Geissele will have to reduce their prices? Is there a new competitor in town?
