Don Lemon has a message for MAGA voters.
Reacting to the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good during an ICE operation in Minneapolis, Lemon delivered a blistering, profanity-laced monologue aimed squarely at MAGA voters, federal agents, and the Trump administration.
Lemon’s language was raw, unfiltered, and deliberately confrontational.
“Is this what you voted for, MAGA? You [ __ ] idiots. Is this what you voted for? Is this what gets your rocks off?” Lemon said at the outset, setting the tone for what followed.
He made clear that immigration status was irrelevant to his argument, saying, “I don’t care if the people in the last video, if they were documented, undocumented, whatever. You don’t treat people like that.”
Lemon went after federal agents involved in recent ICE actions, accusing them of abusing authority and acting without professionalism.

“Why would you even want this job? Is your ego and your penis — are they that small — that you feel that you have to harass people in order to feel like a man or to feel strong?” he said, before mocking what he described as their lack of education and work ethic.
He repeatedly tied the rhetoric and actions of immigration enforcement to the death of Good.
“These people killed a woman. Renee Nicole Good is dead because of the inadequacies, the unprofessional nature of how these people are doing it.”
Lemon went further, calling those involved “soulless, heartless creatures, low lives, lower than the gutter” and accusing them of acting like “racist bigots, slave catchers.”
Lemon also warned agents that they could face legal consequences down the road. “I do believe that these goons out there who are afraid to show their faces… are going to face the long arm of the law,” he said. “That boss is going to get your ass in jail.”
His anger extended to politics and the future of elections, claiming the Trump administration is deliberately pushing aggressive enforcement to project strength and manipulate voters.
“He wants martial law… he’s trying to mess with the 2026 election,” Lemon said, adding that he was “not so optimistic” about the integrity of future elections.

Lemon also took aim at religious conservatives, rejecting claims that harsh immigration enforcement aligns with Christianity. “God doesn’t say any [ __ ] like that,” he said, before invoking biblical figures as immigrants and calling modern evangelical support for enforcement “cruel, heartless” and hypocritical.
The monologue closed with a call to action, urging viewers to vote in 2026 and remove those in power. “Get your ass out there and vote the bastards out,” Lemon said.
Whether one agrees or disagrees with Lemon’s conclusions, his approach raises a broader question.
In the wake of a controversial and emotionally charged shooting, is castigating government workers and resorting to ad hominem attacks the best path toward accountability or national unity?

Ice training is 8 weeks of 6 days per week training. This is consistent with many LE agencies across the country. Where I worked that’s consistent with the state LE academy. Some states can break it up into shorter training blocs spread out over a longer time if it meets their staffing needs. Some states condense more intense training into longer blocs over a shorter overall period. Training can be shorter or longer depending on foreign language requirements and the prior experience and training of applicants. It’s also constantly revised as training methods and individual requirements change.
The Democrats have thrown out all kinds of false numbers, trying to create confusion and stoke anti-ICE anger and distrust in people who will believe whatever they are told.
These are the same people who claimed the agent who (justifiably) shot Renee Good had no training before being put on duty despite him having 16 years on the job.

However, there were many variables that contributed to her demise, on both sides. If people would only obey laws, we would have more order. We should let ICE do their job. Our country was not prepared to handle all these unvetted individuals. If immigration laws had been followed, (1) we would not have this issue to begin with. If there had not been sanctuary cities (2), illegal/criminals would not have congregated there. If protestors followed the law, such as allowing public access on roads (3) they would not be arrests or worse. How can you argue with the law?

Conservative Bulwark Editor Jonathan Last argued there are two groups of President Donald Trump’s voters: Those who signed on to deport 20 million immigrants regardless of whether they had committed any crime, and those who signed on with Trump’s plan to remove only immigrants who were criminals.

“So, some Trump voters were duped owing to their general ignorance and/or innumeracy. But others were not,” added Last. “Others signed up for Trump because of his second promise (the 20 million deportations) and viewed the first promise (about deporting only criminals) as the pap necessary to get the suckers onboard.”
The question Last wants to answer is how many “dupes” voted for Trump vs the avowed racists who simply want Brown people gone. To get his answer, Last reviewed an AP/NORC poll showing consistent 80 percent support for Trump’s immigration policies among Republicans. Then he compared that to a more recent YouGov poll showing 80 percent of Republicans still “approved” of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement even after they shot and killed 37 year-old U.S. citizen Renee Good in footage that reveals no threat to agents.
“It seems pretty clear that, at best, one in five Trump voters were duped. The majority of them are getting exactly what they wanted,” Last said. “Now if Trump were to lose the support of 20 percent of Republican voters — or even 14 percent — it would be meaningful for Republican electoral prospects. Which is nice. The problem is that having 80 percent of Republican voters actively supporting a fascist race war is meaningful for our societal prospects.”
That’s a lot of racists in one party, said Last, but what’s worse is the tally of avowed racists occupying high federal positions, including “Vice President JD Vance, Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem,” as indicated by a recent Homeland Security post claiming to seek the deportation of “100 million” deportations.
“There are 43 million foreign-born Americans. Most of them are legal immigrants. In order to perform 100 million deportations, DHS would have to round up every immigrant of any status —even naturalized citizens — and then also snatch 57 million American who are citizens by birth and deport them, too,” said Last.
“Want to guess who those other 57 million Americans might be?” Last asked, before sharing a recent U.S. Department of Labor X post ordering Americans “To remember who you are.” Last said this slogan is a dead ringer from Adolf Hitler’s own iconic “One People, One Country, One Leader” post from the 1940s. Couple that with a volley of blonde, blue-eyed propaganda posts from Trump’s Department of Labor, and you’ve got even more insight.
“On the one hand, it feels weird to say that the U.S. government is attempting some low-key ethnic cleansing,” said Last. “On the other hand, the reality is that we have a masked secret police force going door-to-door attempting to kidnap brown people; one government agency publicly daydreaming about deporting 100 million people; and another government agency saying that the ideal worker is a 20-year-old white guy.”
Last said this information mingles horribly with the White House’s obsession with white Americans’ falling fertility rate and it’s constant citation of “Stuff white people like” including false claims that white men who “did extremely well” in high school are not getting invited to college despite white men having a “significant advantage” during the application process.
