Responding to law enforcement and public demand, CZ-USA is developing a suppressor designed for the Scorpion family of firearms. It’s a completely modern can with a welded titanium construction. They’re also putting together a new compact “K” Micro Scorpion, a PDW-style pistol.

The CZ Scorpion EVO S1 includes a series of rifles and pistols chambered for 9mm Luger based on CZ’s popular design. These guns have been a runaway success for CZ, with solid features at very competitive prices.

Called the S2 Ti Reflex, the suppressor fits over the barrel with a rearward-facing blast chamber to give it a large volume without extending far past the end of the muzzle.

Combined with the welded unibody design, the S2 Ti Reflex is not only compact, it’s also lightweight. Overall the suppressor sticks out less than 6 inches past the muzzle and weighs only 9.6 ounces.

“The can in question was something that we couldn’t source in the marketplace,” said CZ-USA. “Teaming up with the airflow specialists at Aerocharger, we were able to achieve the suppression of larger, bulkier cans but in a much lighter, shorter package.”

The suppressor is capable of reducing the sound pressure level to below 130 decibels at the ear with 147-grain subsonic ammo. It also fits inside HB Industries handguards for improved handling and balance.

“We needed a suppressor that could maximize the available real estate of the Scorpion package while keeping the overall length as short as possible,” the company stated.

The PDW-style pistol is even smaller and lighter. Called the Scorpion Micro, the new pistol has a service-pistol length 4-inch barrel and it collapses to just 16 inches overall. Like the S2 Ti Reflex the Micro also features an HB Industries handguard.

Like many carbine-based pistols on the market today the Micro ships with an SB Tactical stabilizing brace. The gun con be converted to a short-barreled rifle with a stock. All NFA rules apply.

CZ hasn’t released pricing information for the S2 Ti Reflex or the upcoming Micro just yet but they have scheduled them both for 2018. If they’re anything like the other Scorpion guns, they will be affordable and well-made — CZ really set the bar high for themselves.

Depending on the configuration CZ Scorpion guns start at just $750. Can’t wait for CZ to drop the Micro on the market?
