Crimson Trace: $60 Tac Light for Long Guns, New Laserguards & More – SHOT Show 2018

in Authors, Clay Martin, Industry News, SHOT Show 2018

Crimson Trace is, as they say, the leader in laser sights for firearms.  At SHOT Show 2018, we got a chance to swing by their booth to see what new offerings they have coming down the pike.

Laserguard Line

Crimson Trace: Tac Light for Long Guns, New Laserguards & More - SHOT Show 2018

New Laserguards and Laserguard Pro units are now available. Prices vary per model.

First up are additions to CT’s popular Laserguard line, which includes both the standard Laserguard and Laserguard Pro.

For newbies, the former is just a laser sight while the Pro model includes both a laser sight and white light in a single compact package. Purchasers can choose between red and green laser sights on either offering.

Since Laserguards are model-specific, not one-size-fits-all pistols, Crimson Trace has to continuously release new Laserguards as new handguns come to market. New this year are Laserguards for SIG, Glock, Smith & Wesson and Ruger. Prices vary per model.

CMR-208 Rail Master Universal Tactical Light

Not content with just dominating the laser market, Crimson Trace has also rolled out a new pistol light called the CMR-208 Rail Master Universal Tactical Light.  This unit will affix to any rail-equipped handgun.
