Will Haden will now serve not one, not two but three concurrent life sentences for rape. Oh yeah, and an additional 10 years for aggravated incest.

The former star of Discovery Channel’s “Sons of Guns” got slapped with his third life sentence last week after pleading no contest to two rape charges in Livingston Parish, reports WAFB.

“We thought that this was the best resolution to this to protect the victims from having to endure any additional trauma by having to come and testify in court once again,” Assistant District Attorney David Guidry said. “But yet it satisfy our obligation to the public for public safety to make sure that this defendant stays in jail for the rest of his life.”

Hayden received two life sentences plus 40 years back in April when he was convicted on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of forcible rape in East Baton Rouge Parish.

In total, Four victims made claims against Hayden, including a 15-year-old girl who testified that Hayden raped her a number of times in 2013 and 2014 when she was 11 and 12 years old and a 37-year-old woman who claimed Hayden raped her in the early 90s’ when she was 11 and 12 years old.

What sparked the investigation into Hayden’s history of raping preteen girls was when his personal assistant at Red Jacket Firearms, the business showcased on “Sons of Guns,” walked in on Hayden kissing the young girl in the living room of his home on Aug. 4, 2014.

The next day, the assistant filed a report with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.

During the trial in East Baton Rouge, Hayden took the stand to make the case that he was an innocent man. However, given the evidence, including the testimony from the victims, a jury of his peers didn’t believe him. He was found guilty after about an hour of deliberation.

Hayden, 52, is not eligible for parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. He will spend the rest of his life in custody, reports WAFB.

Good riddance!

This POS deserves a bullet to the head and nothing else is fair to the kids he destroyed.3 life terms sounds like a harsh sentence but its not enough. This man destroyed young lives, who will have to live with those hideous memories forever.

I have been a FFL and NFA-SOT since 1 June 1986. Many times in watching Hayden’s show, he would say things regarding the Federal laws governing firearms that just were not so. I was getting the feeling the show’s script writers were deliberately putting things into the script to deceive civilians who knew nothing about Federal firearms laws and purposely played into the hands of the anti-firearms forces. After the first season, I stopped watching this show. I’m beginning to think I was completely correct.

Any person, man or woman, who molests a child should never see the light of day again!!! The man should be castrated, I have no idea about a woman. The scary thing is why was this guy not dealt with the first time and allowed to continue preying on young girls? I am sick of hearing “He/she slipped through the cracks in the system.” or “They served their time.” What about those that they molested? They have to live the rest of their lives with what happened to them! I am a believer in “instant” justice…problem solved.

  • ejharb July 23, 2017, 2:06 pm

I’d let him pick which red jacket gun he would be shot in the head with.then send him to hell with it! But I guess the taxpayers of lousiana enjoy spending money to keep a dirtbag alive 30 more years or so,,,

  • Scotty Gunn July 22, 2017, 3:35 pm

Hated the show, but then again don’t like reality shows in general.
Never liked him, I read a lot about them ripping people off on AK builds years prior to the tv show, and that stuck in my mind.

  • SOMA6 July 21, 2017, 8:19 pm

I got that “creepy” feeling too, as I watched the show…I thought he was really strange around his daughter.

  • Silverbullet July 21, 2017, 5:20 pm

It’s not hard to tell , I saw something was wrong the first time I saw him on tv, any wonder so many working there left or portrayed badly. One look in his eyes should tell anyone he’s just not right. I guess it’s kinda like dogs can tell some people are no good. My condolences to all he hurt , the media will always make the gun owner be the bad guy. You don’t think he was used do you ????? I BELIEVE HE USED BY THE MEDIA TO PUT ALL LEGAL OWNERS IN A BAD LIGHT.

is this the show where a local police department wanted them to make a .338 Papua sniper rifle, and the father and son ended up spending literally half of the(I think) $3,000 on the PAINT JOB alone(of course with a local company they had dealings with.) and the paint job was horrible! it was bright purple and green and highly reflective. I would have been seriously pissed if I was that police chief/sniper.

  • Bryan July 21, 2017, 3:32 pm

He deserves everything thrown at him, and then some.
But why is someone like that not put to death? He is a waste of human flesh, a pervert, a child molester, and a rapist. According to the law he will die in a cell with no chance to walk as a free man again…why should we as Americans have to pay for this trash until he dies?

  • Campbell A King July 21, 2017, 1:44 pm

Drop his pants,,get a picture of him bent over,,make a bunch of targets,,we can all shoot his ass…..

  • Dilligaf July 21, 2017, 1:01 pm

What they should also do for his punishment is cut his junk off and tattoo “child rapist” on his forehead. That way EVERYONE in prison will know what he has done. Personally, I think he should have gotten the death penalty for doing ANYTHING sexual to a child. Fuck him and I hope he dies!

    • Stuart Nuss July 21, 2017, 8:05 pm

I enjoyed “Sons of Guns”, but I have no sympathy for Hayden. He will be known as a child molester in prison (word gets around), and from what I have heard, even other prisoners treat them like dirt, or worse. His time in prison will be far from pleasant.

  • mcFoo July 21, 2017, 1:00 pm

convicted drug dealers and child rapists = immediate hanging. too bad we don’t draw-and-quarter anymore…

    • steve July 21, 2017, 3:35 pm

lol. convicted drug dealers? seriously? we are putting them on the same level as child rapists now?

  • John Cleary July 21, 2017, 12:17 pm

The kicker is Dennis Hastert does much worse but gets out in 13 months? Where is the the justice in this? Elitist wins every time. Look at OJ, he will have a book and a tv show soon. Hollywood already knew of Hayden’s perversions, that’s why they gave him a show and a moment of glory before they set him up to drop the hammer as a way of disgracing gun owners. This sounds like a sentence from a liberal judge who hates our 2nd amendment to me. Same goes for the show American Guns that they setup.

    • Jimmy Hoffa July 25, 2017, 1:38 pm

You need some more tin foil.

    • CC Coleman October 27, 2017, 9:36 pm

His association with guns and fame could have contributed to a harsher sentence and Hastert the Bastert should done 30 years or more. His life is finished. Remember to flush.

“I am very selective about who dates my daughter especially when I am not finished with her.” – Will Hayden “Walking Dead Man”

  • Doc July 21, 2017, 12:17 pm

Any man that would do this to any little girl deserves this or worse. He’s the worse type of scumbag.

  • Anthony July 21, 2017, 11:47 am

I remember the first time this come to light.
And a lot of people on here supported Will Hayden saying it was just women chasing fame and attention.
Just goes to show that watching someone on TV dose not make you a expert on someones character.

  • kolt1911 July 21, 2017, 10:30 am

I pegged this guy as a little sketchy the first time I watched the show. What came to light did not really surprise me. He will get his in the end, karma will see to that.

  • D Wilson July 21, 2017, 10:24 am

Will Hayden = human trash. Jail is a waste, firing squad at sunrise!

    • Mark.tercsak July 21, 2017, 11:26 am

Firing squad , why waste good ammunition, he does not deserve firing squad. That us for men of honor, hang him.

  • LJ July 21, 2017, 10:15 am

Was it just me, or did anyone else have a creepy feeling about this guy from day one? I can only imagine the other legitimate LE personnel seen on the show wish they never met this POS.

    • MURPHJUSS July 21, 2017, 2:43 pm

I will second the creepy feeling from day one, he’s a megalomaniac POS.

  • Adam Jeppson July 21, 2017, 10:11 am

The wages of sin is death. Sounds good to me in this case. The truly tragic and sickening part of this nightmare is that it appears his only regret is getting caught. Inexcusable.

    • Z July 21, 2017, 10:35 am

      Adam,

Using a bible verse out of context is bad enough. That you think “The truly tragic and sickening part of this nightmare is his only regret is getting caught.”, completely ignores the lifelong trauma to his victims. I can’t decide if your ability to convey disgust with his actions is sorely lacking or your focus on punishment and regret grossly outweighs your empathy for the women he assualted. Showing remorse for atrocities doesn’t alleviate suffering. His actions are inexcusable, not his lack of regret.

  • akjc77 July 21, 2017, 9:35 am

I always did think He acted unstable like Bipolar or etc. One minute he was nice Christian acting guy the next a prick. And his brown-nosing son in law had to have known something was up cause he kept his nose in Haydens butt constantly? Feel bad for his employees though.

  • RetNavet July 21, 2017, 6:51 am

I was ready to convict him just on the fact that he was an on-screen asshole, a bullshit artist, had a shitty tv-show and made all kinds of bullshit claims about being the first to manufacture firearms that had already been done by others….libtards and rapist die every day….there truly is a God

  • singleshotcajun July 21, 2017, 5:40 am

  • Lloyd Dumas July 21, 2017, 5:28 am

Deeply disturbing, crimes like these are #1 on my list for the harshest punishment as possible, hope he goes to Angola and Rot there.

    • Greg July 21, 2017, 5:17 pm

      I agree..
