Overview

You can spend a fortune these days on custom grips. Thankfully, though, you don’t have to. Rio Grande has stock grips, semi-custom and fully customizable grips at very affordable prices.

Made from high-strength polymer, Rio Grande’s grips are very durable but what makes them special is their patented method for applying the image or design on the grips. To scratch through to mar the image or design, one would have to go through more than two mils of material. The result is grips that are salt, oil, water, impact and abrasion resistant.

Impression

Pretty nice! Right?

I was impressed with the artwork on the stock grips. There was a mixture of fun and classy designs that would really pop on the right pistol.

But the idea of putting my own custom image on a pair of grips is very appealing. The only question is what image would I choose? Maybe the GunsAmerica logo? My initials? Or maybe a picture of Donald Trump? LOL. I guess the sky is the limit.
