The Little Badger TDX is tiny and convenient.

The Chiappa Little Badger is known for its small size and loud bark because it is a diminutive and lightweight package that could get you through a wilderness survival situation.

New for 2023, the Little Badger Take Down Xtreme (TDX) is another version that packs down even smaller but retains the same functionality and chambering of 22 Long Rifle.

Like the original Little Badger, the TDX model comes with a 1/2″x28 TPI threaded barrel, M1 Military Style front and rear sights, Picatinny rails all around the handguard, and an additional Picatinny rail section behind the trigger guard for mounting aftermarket grips.

Plus, of course, the TDX also holds 12 rounds of ammunition on the butt plate in the integrated cartridge holder.

The Little Badger TDX can come apart at the hinge, thanks to a small knob that locks or unlocks it. Not only can it be taken down like this, but the buttstock can pivot to rest parallel to the barrel.

In this configuration, the action/buttstock half can lock together with the barrel/handguard half. Like this, it can fit in a small, waterproof, storage tube that comes with the rifle. A carry strap for the tube is also included so that you can bring it with you anywhere.

This knob in the bottom right of the photo is what locks the upper receiver to the barrel. Here, it is shown in the locked position. The lever to the left of this knob breaks the action open.

This little rifle can be had for just $9 more than the original Little Badger but seems better in every way. The MSRP is just $280.00 and it will be available in the next few months. Click HERE to learn more.

We have to listen to gun critics that want to take away our freedoms, so why keep inventing new guns for the idiots to cry and whine about? I say tell them to kiss our asses, Biden included and any other liberal prick bastard. We need to purge Washington DC, take it over and put Biden in a retirement home never to be heard from again.I could clean up the crime in the streets and purge the country of the little thugs, but we can’t because of liberal idiots, send ’em to HELL where they belong

Single shot? Break open? Magazine capacity? Tube capacity? Belt fed? How is it loaded?

It’s a break-action single-shot, usually available in .22lr, .22 Magnum, or .17HMR. I’ve borrowed one before in .17HMR. It’s a straight shooter, good for plinking, I’d need a riser on it for optics, I have a hard time getting low enough to use the standard iron sights on it. They’re easy to take down and clean, it looks like this one has a slightly different takedown to it than the original version so it packs up tighter side-by-side instead of flipping the action under.
