Clay: Why Mil-Spec AR Triggers Suck, And How To Fix ’Em
Published: November 18, 2016 { 64 comments }For my money, the only two parts of the gun that actually matter are the barrel and the trigger. (Optics, I consider to be a completely different discussion.) The barrel is the only part that really actually matters for accuracy, and the trigger is the most important part for how you interface with that barrel.

A Walther for under $400? The New 9mm Creed—Full Review.
Published: November 17, 2016 { 38 comments }My first view of the Creed was a few months ago at the Walther HQ in Fort Smith. I was impressed while looking at the pre-production sample, and was shocked to hear the suggested retail of $399.00! I even asked if they were concerned by the price/value relationship with their other guns. They assured me that they would be fine. So, I had a chance to test it recently and here is how it did.
Rob Leatham Tips & Tactics On Shooting a Handgun with a Red Dot
Published: November 16, 2016 { 0 comments }We recently had the opportunity to attend an event where we received hands-on training from no less than Springfield Armory’s Rob Leatham. Set up as part of a writer’s event for the introduction of the Springfield Saint rifle, we had the chance to have Leatham give us all a quick introduction to the ins and outs of optics-equipped pistols.
Suppressed, Red Dot-Ready Carry Gun? S&W M&P C.O.R.E. 9mm—Full Review.
Published: November 16, 2016 { 29 comments }I am normally a Glock guy, as anyone that has trained with me over the last seven years knows. But one thing a life in the military will break you of quickly is brand loyalty. You always have to be looking for an advantage, and in a world were equipment failures cost lives, you don’t care at all where that advantage comes from. So when the chance to review the Smith and Wesson M&P C.O.R.E. with threaded barrel came up, I jumped at the chance.
A Sub-$1,000 Seekins AR? The Freedom Munitions .223 Wylde G.I. Rifle
Published: November 11, 2016 { 10 comments }What makes the G.I. rifle so unique is the fact that Seekins Precision rifles are usually not “price point” products. Seekins has a great reputation for quality, and prices their rifles at reasonable ranges for the quality you are receiving. But, these prices often range from above $1,500 (with some around $1,250 at the lowest). So, the sub-$1,000 ballpark price of the G.I. is notable.
Affordable Accuracy: Savage 10 BA Stealth Rifle—Full Review
Published: November 11, 2016 { 26 comments }Savage is well-known for producing rifles that outperform their price points. In fact, they often can outshoot rifles that cost twice as much or more. I recently had a chance to try out the 10 BA Stealth, which is designed to be lightweight, simple, and above all accurate.
