Defensive Use of Firearms

Groups of armed citizens are working at the southern border to help law enforcement find and detain immigrants trying to get into the United States illegally, according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal.

A CCL holder in Chicago saved a woman’s life last week as she was being attacked by two Rottweilers, the Chicago Tribune reported.  

Footage of a deadly shooting in Lubbock, Texas, was released over the weekend sparking debate as to whether the use of force was justified.  

Kyle Rittenhouse wouldn’t have needed a gun to defend himself if he hadn’t brought a gun to the Kenosha riots in 2020. His life was in danger only because he was carrying an AR-15, not because he was being chased by an angry mob.

After four days of deliberation, the jury deciding the fate of Kyle Rittenhouse has found the 18-year-old not guilty on all counts.

A 77-year-old former firefighter shot and killed a man who was attempting to rob him at gunpoint in Chicago earlier this month.

A Chicago homeowner fatally shot one of two would-be thieves last week during a shootout on the city’s North Side, reports local media.  

The man who was shot in the arm by Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last year admitted during Rittenhouse’s trial that the then-17-year-old didn’t shoot him until the man pointed his gun at Rittenhouse.

“Show me a case, please — we didn’t have them in Memphis — where a good man or woman with a gun protected and stopped the use of a weapon,” said the Democrat, recently.
