Defensive Use of Firearms

An ordinary trip to Cheaha State Park in Alabama went terribly awry for Floridian college students Makayla and Adam.

A homeowner shot and killed a man who was trying to force his way into a home in York County, Virginia, the Daily Press reports.

A 93-year-old California man fatally shot a burglary suspect late last month, local media reports.

After watching surveillance footage of the incident, investigators said that the 22-year-old responded to the threat within 15 seconds after the shooting began.  

The robbery suspect, who was fatally wounded during the incident, has been identified by KSDK 5 News as Lance Bush from St. Louis City.
