President Joe Biden’s desire to ban and confiscate black rifles will not matter to the residents of House District 2 in Texas.

ShotIQ Founder Joel Turner was on the Joe Rogan Experience recently. During the conversation, Turner — a former SWAT Sniper — spoke about his most intense hostage situation.

“The Stop Online Ammunition Sales Act is one step in the right direction to slowing the proliferation of guns and ammunition,” she continued. “Americans did not send us to Washington to mourn them when it is our job to do everything we can as federal legislators to protect them.”

The charge of involuntary manslaughter without the gun enhancement charge is still set to move forward. It carries a potential 18-month sentence. 

Legal owners of banned guns will be protected by a grandfather clause if they register the firearms with the Illinois State Police by Jan. 1.

This effort aims to close the “boyfriend loophole,” a term used to refer to the current law that only prohibits abusive partners from accessing guns temporarily.
