A Phoenix man has voluntarily turned over his guns to police in the wake of the shooting in Las Vegas.

The National Rifle Association Thursday came out in favor of banning bump stocks.

“The only reason to fire so many rounds so fast is to kill large numbers of people. No one should be able to easily and cheaply modify legal weapons into what are essentially machine guns,” said Feinstein.

“It’s time to talk about taking away guns — not everyone’s guns and not all of them, but a whole lot. I know I am inviting enormous vitriol with that sentence, but it has to be said.”
