“This is where the Second Amendment comes in, quite frankly, because you know, what if the president was to ignore the courts? What would you do? What would we do?” asked the Democratic congressman.

A Broward County judge ordered the removal of four firearms and 267 rounds of ammunition from a 56-year-old man residing in Lighthouse Point, a community 14 miles east of Parkland.  

Ruger’s Mini 14 is almost certainly on the chopping block, and Norwegian hunters will have three years to either sell or dispose of their now-illegal firearms. Selling a firearm to a buyer in a foreign country can be expensive and time-consuming, so many gun owners will likely be forced to simply destroy their rifles.

In general, aftermarket triggers with a lighter pull and faster reset allow shooters to increase their rate of fire. Does that mean that Florida just banned these types of triggers?

Any publication with “Assault Weapons” content is on the chopping block. The Second Amendment community has been desperate for clarity, and President Trump just gave us some, for better or for worse.

While students across the country are staging walkouts at their schools Wednesday, some to protest for tougher gun laws, others probably just to skip class for a while, many young adults are silently joining gun rights organizations.

Bail agent Chasity Dawn Carey shot and killed 38-year-old Brandon James Williams while attempting to take him into custody last August.  The incident was caught on camera.  See video below.  Viewer discretion is advised.

“But more importantly, we need to stop dangerous people before they act,” said Chris Cox of the NRA-ILA. “So Congress should provide funding for states to adopt Risk Protection Orders. This can help prevent violent behavior before it turns into a tragedy.”
