Just 30 days after President Joe Biden ordered the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to write a rule banning so-called “ghost guns,” the ATF has complied.

With their growing support for the right to purchase and own firearms, it is clear what the American people want – and don’t want. They reject efforts at imposing more gun control and those that continue to push infringements on those rights are out of excuses to do so.

The Oregon state legislature sent a bill to the governor’s desk this week that would impose strict penalties on gun owners who failed to secure their firearms and ban firearms from being carried in some public places, including the state capitol.

The Lone Star State is just two steps away from becoming the 21st state to allow residents to carry a firearm without a permit or training—otherwise known as “constitutional carry.”

Biden claimed in arguing for a new “assault weapons and high-capacity magazines ban” that “[w]e’ve done it before, and it worked.”

Republicans in the U.S. House and Senate introduced legislation this week that would allow all American adults to purchase a handgun from a federally licensed dealer. Current law prohibits handgun purchases for anyone under the age of 21.

“Talk to most responsible gun owners, most hunters — they’ll tell you there’s no possible justification for having 100 rounds — 100 bullets — in a weapon,” he said. “What do you think deer are wearing kevlar vests?”
