California Governor Gavin Newsom threatened last week to enact a law that would allow private citizens to seek injunctive relief against anyone who makes or sells “assault weapon or ghost gun kit or parts in the State of California.”

A group of Democratic lawmakers in the U.S. House announced today a bill that would “modernize” firearm purchasing by requiring “facilitators” of gun sales—such as gun show sellers and websites—to conduct background checks on all transactions.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) posted an anti-2A speech to social media this week that went viral in the wake of the school shooting in Michigan that left three dead and eight others wounded.  

Rightfully, the jury rejected these perversions of Constitutional rights. That didn’t stop the gun control groups from piling on.

Rumblings continue to emerge about the Biden Administration putting together a backdoor federal gun registry.

Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke made it clear that he still supports confiscating modern sporting rifles from law-abiding citizens. 

“No one should be able to purchase a semi-automatic weapon, cross state lines and kill two people, wound another, and go free,” tweeted Witherspoon.

Author, attorney, and Iraq veteran David French believes it’s time to “rethink open carry, as a matter of ethics and law.”

“I’m running for governor,” O’Rourke said, “Together, we can push past the small and divisive politics that we see in Texas today — and get back to the big, bold vision that used to define Texas.”
