Over the weekend, a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators agreed on a package of bills that, if passed, would be the first major federal action on gun control in nearly 26 years. 

The U.S. House of Representatives this week passed a sweeping gun-control package titled, the “Protecting Our Kids Act” (POKA). 

“But I don’t think that the people who have them right now in civilian use should be able to keep them,” he added.

Authorities in Charleston, West Virginia, are hailing the brave and decisive actions of an armed female who they say “prevented a mass casualty event.”

“I think it’s reasonable to say: does a civilian need more than a 10-round magazine in their guns?” Jacobs asked.

Instead of demonizing gun owners and the firearms industry, bring them to the table and benefit from their knowledge.
