Savage Firearms’ newest shotgun, the Renegauge, was announced almost a year ago and purchasers are finally getting their hands on them. This new hot-rod semiautomatic shotgun has been totally redesigned and over-engineered by the good folk at Savage. At the core of the Renegauge is a new “D.R.I.V. System (pronounced ‘drive’) that utilizes dual pressure relief valves and a short-stroke piston to cycle the action reliably between shots, almost independently of the power of the shell fired.

Knife From A Champion: The WR Fighter From Wolf River Forge Reviewed
Updated: August 3, 2024As a gun nut, one of the things I take for granted is the value of a good blade. Because I am also an avid hunter, I am reminded yearly of this very thing. I have spent years of my life testing various blades, and most of them have left me wanting more from a knife. My current opinion is that a person needs many for a variety of applications, outfits, and events. You know, for specific tasks and fashion demands.

Because of its 20 3/4″ collapsed length, you can fit the PDW in a nightstand next to your bed, the bottom side of your truck seat, or in a backpack for toting around in your daily activities.
Serious Punch! 50 Caliber Airforce Airguns’ Texan LSS .50 CF – Reviewed
Updated: August 3, 2024Airguns are not limited to what they used to be: guns for training children on gun safety. These days, airgun technology is advancing to the point where we can shoot heavier projectiles faster than ever before out of production rifles. Because of this, they are a great option to take out hunting! This Texan LSS .50 CF will produce up to 750 ft./lbs of energy, which is as much as a .357 Mag or 44 Mag in some cases. Yes, this is hard to believe, but not when you are holding a 600 grain slug in your hand.
Desert Tech’s Small Package Puts In Work: MDRX 6.5 Creedmoor Reviewed
Updated: April 26, 2020Desert Tech’s MDRX is a prime example of human ingenuity and true innovation. Not only is it unique, but it fills the role that it was designed for perfectly. The MDRX is the ultimate battle rifle because it is short and mobile without giving up barrel length and the accompanying velocity. A longer barrel will also emit less muzzle flash than a shorter comparator which is important for staying concealed.

Also, this gun has takedown functionality, meaning you can remove the handguard and barrel from the receiver and carry it as a seperate package.
The World’s First Truly Modular 80% Glock: The GST-9 By 80 Percent Arms
Updated: March 22, 2020The GST-9 is a modular frame that accepts two different grip extensions. One is shorter, resulting in a grip the same length as a Glock 19. The other is longer, configuring the grip to the same length as a Glock 17. Naturally, magazine compatibility changes when you swap these grips out. When in Glock 19 configuration, you can run Glock 19 magazines and larger. Ditto for the Glock 17 configuration of course.
5.7 Craze: FN Five-seveN Full Review
Updated: March 15, 2020When I first received the FN Five-seveN (FN 57 from here out), I immediately took notice of how lightweight it is. Coming in at only 21 ounces without the mag, it’s the kind of deceiving that pulls a remark out of anyone that picks one up for the first time. Coupling this fact with my knowledge of the FN 57 being used by military and police across the world, the latter makes a lot more sense. This is a powerful package that carries 20 rounds of 5.7×28 and puts minimal strain on the hip of the person that has to carry it.
