Doug Koenig talked to us about a couple new offering from the Ruger Custom Shop. They are taking their standard products and turning them into competition ready firearms, all that’s missing is a shooter guide to the winners circle.

The new product line that they have to offer includes two optics. The ZC420 and the ZC527 which you can get with one of two different great reticles. Currently, both optics are only offered in MRAD, but that will likely change in the future. Both of these optics have a huge magnification range and amazing glass while remaining sub 40 ounces, an incredible achievement.

Sandrin Knives has been making extremely high quality (and high priced) knives with tungsten carbide blades for some time. These knives are beautiful and it’d be a pleasure to own them, especially paired with a Cabot pistol with matching grips. However, with price tags over $1500, they aren’t for everyone’s budget. Their new TCK 416 on the other hand, brings the benefits of tungsten carbide blades and delivers for just as little as $149.

Heckler & Koch just announced a series of budget-friendly HK416 rifles and pistols, now chambered for .22 Long Rifle, at appealingly low price points.

Standard Mfg.’s double-barreled revolver is completely different. First of all, it’s a double-barreled gun. I’ve never heard of a double-barrelled revolver before but this gun makes it seem reasonable.

How much does this whole thing go for?  MSRP: $19,544. I’ll be honest, I probably won’t pick one up.
