Even at a quick glance, it’s immediately obvious to lever gun fans that there’s something different about the new Henry Magnum Express rifle, which is chambered in .22 WMR. This new offering is basically their MPR chassis rifle shrunken down to a barrel length of 7.5-12.5″ depending on caliber. Don’t be fooled though, these short barrels still pack a punch while providing impressive accuracy.

an impressive round that too often gets written off as being only good for magdumps and plinking. I use it on hogs and whitetail with excellent results and it’s ballistically comparable to 30-30. I love this round chambered in the familiar AR platform because it gives you a bit more power in a lighter package.

The MC2sc is a reliable, accurate, concealed-carry weapon. All things considered, the little pistol offered up a stellar performance, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I love the little Rancher Carbine. I have a ton of fun with it, but it’s a weird gun. It doesn’t do anything exceptionally well outside of being a fun novelty. It’s plenty reliable, has low recoil, has a great trigger, and is affordable. If you want a fun, albeit somewhat useless rifle, then the Rancher Carbine has you covered.

Selecting a handgun should be easy. We are truly in a golden age of handgun development with many well-made reliable choices.  That is the problem for some shooters, the vast array of choices can seem daunting. Once you apply some common sense, you can get a model that fits your hands and your needs.

Just a few short years ago, we had a choice between carrying a 9mm handgun that was micro-sized and easily (and comfortably) concealed, but held only 6 or 7 rounds – or one that held 10-12 rounds but was bulky and a bit cumbersome. That has all changed now, after SIG Sauer introduced the P365 the industry has been scrambling to catch up.
