In terms of pure visceral enjoyment, the Mk47 is a joy to shoot and a dead sexy looking rifle. CMMG’s Mk47 merges the ergonomics and modularity of the AR with the best qualities of the AK.

There are many practical uses that I have for the PDW which span from personal protection to fun trigger-time at the range. Because of its 20 3/4″ collapsed length, you can fit the PDW in a nightstand next to your bed, the bottom side of your truck seat, or in a backpack for toting around in your daily activities.

These days, airgun technology is advancing to the point where we can shoot heavier projectiles faster than ever before out of production rifles. Because of this, they are a great option to take out hunting! This Texan LSS .50 CF will produce up to 750 ft./lbs of energy, which is as much as a .357 Mag or 44 Mag in some cases. Yes, this is hard to believe, but not when you are holding a 600 grain slug in your hand.

Desert Tech’s MDRX is a prime example of human ingenuity and true innovation. Not only is it unique, but it fills the role that it was designed for perfectly. The MDRX is the ultimate battle rifle because it is short and mobile without giving up barrel length and the accompanying velocity. A longer barrel will also emit less muzzle flash than a shorter comparator which is important for staying concealed.

I fondly remember picking up my grandfathers old dusty, faded hunting magazines and reading about hunting rifles. Unless you were buying a rifle from Kenny Jarrett, or other custom builders, sub-MOA rifles were nary to be found. Sometime during the late 90’s or early 2000, factory rifles started to appear that could produce MOA results with factory ammunition. These days, companies guarantee MOA accuracy and owners seem to fly into a fit of panic if their new rifle fails to group 1.047 inches at 100 yards. I recently got to spend some time behind a Mossberg Patriot Predator rifle, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, and had no problems hitting a 24-inch plate at 1,800 yards. How times have changed.

The bottom line is it was an amazing trip. The service, facilities, staff, food, professional hunters, animals, weather, and just the overall welcoming and accommodating attitude of everyone associated with Marupa Safaris was fantastic.

I think calling the B-14R perfect would be a little pretentious but I believe it represents the absolute best bang for the buck if you want to mirror your Remington 700 in .22LR form.
