This review is intended to give you an overview of what the AutoTrickler V2 & AutoThrow Powder Measure/Dispenser is, what it does, my experience with it, and why it’s quickly becoming the most popular powder measuring/throwing device in the precision shooting world.

As the flagship of the Bushnell Elite Tactical line, my expectations are high for the XRS II. I’m happy to report that Bushnell hasn’t failed.

Available in a direct thread or QC set up, we opted to test the direct thread. The can features a completely toolless takedown, though it has wrench flats on the cap. Not that any of us would ever neglect maintenance so long as to need those. The user serviceable part of this cannot be overstated.

Fed up with eyeballing and Home Depot bubble levels, I finally reached out to Wheeler Engineering and Straight Shot, LLC. Both companies have designed devices that, ostensibly, take the guesswork out of reticle leveling.

Pictured below are a Diamond D Custom Leather shoulder holster and a Glock 26. They make a great combination for concealed carry. When it comes to this rig, I love the comfort, balance and retention, but I do not love where the muzzle of the gun ends up.
