Reloading Without a Bench

Reloading Without a Bench

One of the big hurdles to getting into reloading is the lack of space. And a lot of people do not live next door to a rifle range where they can easily develop their loads as necessary. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to reload at the range when testing your handloads? This article is about some solutions that would address these problems.

Getting Out of a Jam – Clearing Malfunctions in an AR-15

Even the highest quality, best-made guns eventually suffer a failure or malfunction, and it may not indicate a problem with the gun. It can still be a serious problem though, and learning how to clear malfunctions is serious business.

AAC Ti-Raid Suppressor Review

AAC Ti-Raid Suppressor Review

Available in a direct thread or QC set up, we opted to test the direct thread. The can features a completely toolless takedown, though it has wrench flats on the cap. Not that any of us would ever neglect maintenance so long as to need those. The user serviceable part of this cannot be overstated.

Tested: Three Budget-Friendly Reticle Leveling Systems

Fed up with eyeballing and Home Depot bubble levels, I finally reached out to Wheeler Engineering and Straight Shot, LLC. Both companies have designed devices that, ostensibly, take the guesswork out of reticle leveling.

What I Love & Hate About the Diamond D Custom Leather Shoulder Holster

What I Love & Hate About the Diamond D Custom Leather Shoulder Holster

Pictured below are a Diamond D Custom Leather shoulder holster and a Glock 26. They make a great combination for concealed carry. When it comes to this rig, I love the comfort, balance and retention, but I do not love where the muzzle of the gun ends up.

TriggrCon Firearms Convention Showcases New Products

The Pacific Northwest and Seattle, in particular, is a hotbed of snowflake triggering activity. It was therefore with some surprise that recently (end of July) a firearms convention actually called TriggrCon was held so close to the Emerald City. Bellevue, Washington, a mere 10 miles from the Seattle Space Needle, hosted this event for the third consecutive year. Manufacturers displayed their wares in booths as well as at the range as has become the custom with such shows.

Unique AR's Infinitely Customizable AR Grip

Unique AR’s Infinitely Customizable AR Grip

Here’s what makes it special. The grip can be infinitely adjusted to ergonomically fit your hand. If you run it for a while and decide that it needs to be different, no problem. Loosen the screw in the bottom and the grip resets. Put your hand on it and squeeze until it feels comfortable to your hand. Tighten the bolt. It’s like magic. Katie Lynn was kind enough to give me the one she’d showed me and I carried it for hours playing with it.

Ruger Suppressed 10/22 - Quiet as Death Himself

Ruger Suppressed 10/22 – Quiet as Death Himself

Today was the first time I got to test the new Ruger 10/22 with the Silent-SR ISB, or Integrally Suppressed Barrel. The lines look like a double barrel gun, but the bottom half is actually a baffle stack. A one-piece barrel and suppressor, it fits any 10/22 takedown model as a replacement. It is one of the most well thought out rimfire suppressors I have seen, Ruger hit it out of the park this time.
