It is once again that time of year, Christmas season. While most of your list may be easy to find at the local mall, odds are slim that is going to work for your resident gun guy or gal. Fear not, dear readers, we have that covered.

Even adults have Christmas wish lists. Mine contains some of the guns I’ve most coveted and self-defense equipment that’s helped me over the years. Here’s the rundown.

It’s not often you find something worthwhile for a less than $30 pricetag, but this foam rest surprised me with its usefulness.

In my competitive shotgun career, I have always looked for pieces of technology that give the shooter and instructor different perspectives on shooting a target. I recently had the opportunity to use the new Tactacam 5.0 on the range to evaluate its effectiveness of capturing a shot.

First off, it is a 2 point sling.  Winning so far.  Additionally, the sling most certainly checks the box for being lightweight.  It is made of 1” webbing and uses hardware made by ITW Nexus, which are not only proven, but also very light.  The sling uses both the ITW Triglides and a Zipline Orbit.
