Eberlestock has been in the hunting/military pack industry far longer than most currently existing companies and they have a huge selection of great packs to show for it. This SHOT Show they released yet another: the F53 Tomahawk.

ADG brass is great because, as I have mentioned, they produce a few cartridges that nobody else really offers. Second, ADG brass is manufactured through a stringent process which leads to brass that is more precise, uniform and holds up through more reloads. The brass is formed through the traditional drawn method.

One reason that the Ugly Suppressor is so cool is because the gasses are not designed to stay trapped within the suppressor itself. Instead, the gasses flow through an elongated path which allow them to cool without generating extra back pressure. This suppressor design is perfect for semi-auto guns because the ejection speed is not affected by a pressure spike.

FightLite’s Raider pistol isn’t new this year, but True Pearce did get to shoot it at the range day during SHOT Show. It’s an AR pistol available in 5.56 or 300 BLK. You can mount any AR upper and then use their proprietary bolt with the lower.

Smith & Wesson took the Thompson Center T/CR 22 and made it better. They gave it a Performance Center makeover that aims to squeeze every bit of accuracy out of the rifle.

This year sees Vortex bringing out some exciting new products that every long range hunter, sportsman, or long range shooter can appreciate.

One of the more anticipated rifles from FN has been the SCAR 20S, based on their Mk 20 SSR (Sniper Support Rifle) that’s been in service with special operations forces since 2010.

The highlight of the Providence is the fact that it is not semiautomatic, but still fires one round per pull of the trigger. The technicalities of this fall in a grey area but as I mentioned, this is one of Franklin Armory’s specialties. It looks like a traditional rifle scope and is a much better fit on your bolt gun. It’ll pick up targets at 2,300 yards and survive a swim in the creek.

Kimber makes a fine hammerless revolver, but this year they’ve modified their K6s to include a double-action/single-action trigger. It comes with a 3″ or 2″ barrel and a 6-shot cylinder.
