Published: July 20, 2018 { 14 comments }Long-range hunting continues to gain in popularity. But just because you want to go long doesn’t mean dropping in bullets at 1,000 yards. Inland Manufacturing M-1 Carbine: Old Soldiers Never Die
Published: July 14, 2018 { 36 comments }The .30 M-1 Carbine was used by the U.S. Military in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. The carbine was supplied to allied forces and hung around long after Vietnam. I encountered the M-1 carbine in service with the Bolivian UMOPAR counter-drug police in the 1990s. These fun guns remain popular and effective for civilians today.
Altama Maritime Assault Boot: A Winner in Ninja-Grade Footwear
Published: July 11, 2018 { 21 comments }I have plenty of experience with Altama, they made the best jungle boots around during my military career. As a retiree though, I wouldn’t be caught dead in a set. So it was rather surprising to find something as sexy looking as the Maritime Assault Boot in their catalog.
What I Love & Hate About the Smith & Wesson Model 360
Published: July 10, 2018 { 36 comments }I will admit my biases up-front. I love these guns and always have. I think I always will. Depending on the day, I choose a J-frame over a slim nine, over a Glock 19 and over lots of other guns. I don’t always, but most of the time I do.
