The DOD wants a new rifle and automatic weapon cartridge and actually narrowed it down to 3 finalists. Many of the exact specifications of the new round are close hold, but we do know one thing for certain. The caliber will be 6.8. Which really got me thinking about the last time 6.8 was a contender.

I promise you this; the Primary Arms SLx MD-25 has earned a place in my arsenal. They aren’t getting this one back.

This week, my CZ striker experience finally got to come full circle. I got my hands on a P10-F optics ready, the latest and greatest in CZ’s polymer striker-fired line.

Overall, I am happy to say that reports of Glock’s death have been greatly exaggerated. I don’t know what happened with anyone else’s gun, but I do know what happened with mine. It ran like a sewing machine and looked mostly factory new after it did.
