Why the safety? If there are no import laws requiring that latch, then up appeal. I believe the manufacturing laws in MN prevent the low budget Ruger .22 SA from being sold in that state.
I consider these 22’s decent entry level plinkers so the safety doesn’t bother me – I just won’t use it. And as an inexpensive plinker, cutting the usp from the box is a non issue since the box doesn’t really add any collector value. IMO.
I guess that at least around these parts, you’d be recovering 200% of sales tax… so that ‘s something.
I just can’t get around that hideous safety.
You have the serial # and the cash register receipt, why do I have to destroy my revolver box to furnish you original UPC’s from product packaging for the rebate?
survioir50, your comment made me curious but I could not spot the revolver with extra safety in the video above nor on the company website. Which model are you referring to?
If it didn’t have a STUPID safety on a REVOLVER… I’d but one…
I know… I know… import laws… Still, STUPID ON STEROIDS !!!
