Baltimore Bodycam Footage Shows Shooting Death of 18-Year-Old

in Authors, Current Events, Defensive Use of Firearms, S.H. Blannelberry

Fool me once. Shame on you. Fool me twice. Shame on me. Fool me a third time? WTF?

In one month, Curtis Jamal Deal was arrested three times on a gun or drug-related charge. Three times!

The troubled 18-year-old was in court after the third arrest and received the following instruction with respect to his curfew from Judge Nicole Taylor, who opted to release Deal instead of keeping him in police custody before his trial.

“You’re not going out at night, you’re not going to get food, you’re not going to meet your girlfriend. You’re in your house,” Taylor told him at bail review hearing, according to The Baltimore Sun.

“I’m giving you an opportunity to go to school and not be in jail pending this trial,” she added. “The curfew is 1 p.m., 7 days a week.”

The following day, Deal was shot and killed by Detective David Kincaid Jr., during a foot chase in which Deal turned around and pointed a firearm at the detective. Kincaid shot Deal four times, striking him in the abdomen, hip, and finger.

Police Commissioner Kevin Davis applauded Kincaid for his actions, noting that the shooting was indeed justified. He also criticized Judge Taylor’s decision to release Deal, saying that the department “could very well be planning a police funeral right now.”

When one reads the charges stacked against Deal, it’s mind-blowing that Judge Taylor put him back out onto the streets.

On Jan. 4 Deal was charged with four handgun counts. On Jan. 30. he was arrested after allegedly tossing a bag of heroin under a car before being caught by police. Not long after, he was arrested a third time on nine new gun and drug counts after police raided several abandoned homes thought to be part of a drug operation in which Deal was allegedly a main player.

In court, while he was before Judge Taylor, Assistant State Attorney David Chiu argued that Deal was a real threat to society.

“He’s an active participant in a large-scale sale of drugs,” said Chiu. “This isn’t someone who just happened to be there.”

Chiu noted how the 18-year-old posted $100,000 bail following his first arrest.

“Given the connection of violence and drugs and guns and the enormous amount of drugs that were being sold here, while he’s out on bail for guns, the state thinks he poses a continuing and extreme risk to public safety,” Chiu said.

Despite all the obvious red flags associated with Deal, Judge Taylor released Deal on an unsecured $250,000 bond (meaning no money was required) provided that he made good on his curfew and attended school.

“It shows dysfunction, I believe, in our criminal justice system,” said Mayor Catherine Pugh. “People who have those many gun charges probably should not be on our streets.”

People who have those many gun charges probably should not be on our streets.

Duh, ya think?!!!

Arrested 3 times for what? POSSESSION of drugs and POSSESSION of guns. While I won’t disagree that running from a cop, much less pointing a gun at one is a very stupid decision. (BTW either of which could very likely get you killed) Forgive me however, if given what I know based on this article, I fail to agree with the “logic” here and I use that word very loosely in this instance…i.e.

danger to society…menace to society and to himself…connection of violence and drugs…It shows dysfunction, I believe, in our criminal justice system…People who have those many gun charges probably should not be on our streets…judge had a catch and release philosophy…If the judge releases somebody who is a risk, they should have to pay the penalty that of the person they released and pay any damages to the families who suffer as a result (LOL, one of my favorites)… people who are in prison aren’t there for any other reason than that they deserve to be (Right…in every single instance…LOL),..Sick and tired of drugs and gangs. BUILD THE WALL, NOW!!!…And he probably killed someone already and got away with it because you don’t deal drugs and guns without ever having to use them (Yeah OK that has to be true …LMAO)…This is where ALL such Ghetto Thug Trash needs to be, DEAD!….etc, etc, etc ad nauseam

Instead of just regurgitating more of all this hyped up diarrhea of the mouth, just stop and ask yourself one simple question…who were the victims of the crimes that resulted in that dumb-ass kid’s three arrests?……..(cricket sounds)

  • James Rice February 18, 2017, 1:23 pm

Judges are a significant part of the culture that permits violent criminals and drug deals to roam at large. This case show the death of this out-of-control criminal was due to the fact that after multiple series arrests the judge had a catch and release philosophy. I hope some lawyer has the guts to run against the judge in the next election.

  • Edward Allen February 18, 2017, 10:37 am

In this case, I believe personal accountability comes into play. Not just on the part of the 18 year old drug dealing hood, but the judge. Judge Taylor, and other judges who put the population at risk, should be held to task. If the judge releases somebody who is a risk, they should have to pay the penalty that of the person they released and pay any damages to the families who suffer as a result.
Remove them from the bench for violating the trust of the people they are supposed to protect.

  • Leighton Cavendish February 18, 2017, 9:45 am

So…is judge Taylor white or black…? Perhaps there was some bias regarding the release before trial.

  • ROSCOE February 18, 2017, 8:26 am

I will NEVER, EVER forget the way Democrats cheered when Hillary Clinton lumped NRA members and so many other patriotic Americans in the “basket of deplorables,”

  • loupgarous February 17, 2017, 10:37 pm

Bodycams will be a godsend to this nation, ultimately. They’ll deflate the lie (it’s not just a “false narrative”, hasn’t been for a while) that the people who are in prison are there for any other reason than that they deserve to be,

Thank you, and have a nice day.

  • Mike Watkins February 17, 2017, 1:47 pm

Looks like in this particular case, an incredibly stupid liberal judge’s “catch and release” justice resulted in a good for society.

You young men who sell drugs and do other crimes, there is a lesson here for you: “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”

This had nothing to do with a wall.

You think that was domestic heroin he threw under the car?

      • Dogman February 18, 2017, 8:56 am

Give it up, Liberal Bob W.

  • bill February 17, 2017, 1:30 pm

Something DRASTIC needs to happen, concerning the heroin epidemic and drugs in general. Trump’s going to have a rough time trying to get that wall built, due to the multi-Billion dollar drug trade money that the Cartels are using to oppose him on said wall. We as Americans need to let our voices be heard LOUD AND CLEAR ‘ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!’

  • skipNclair February 17, 2017, 1:04 pm

He is dead because he was a menace to society and to himself. He might still be alive if the judge had locked him up and not given him an opportunity to prove his worth, but with his record she should have known the best thing for all was to keep him locked up. I would be willing to bet had he been kept in jail, went to trial, found guilty, did his time, he would have come out only to return to his criminal ways. I commend this officer for doing his job and doing it well. I think the judge should be taken off the bench, and replaced with someone that can do the job better. If you point a gun at a police officer expect to get shot, if you point a gun at an armed man in an act of a crime or violence, expect him to shoot back. Two in the chest, one in the head is best for this type making sure they are dead.

    • Adam February 21, 2017, 7:40 pm

      I 100% agree with you.

  • 9MM February 17, 2017, 12:56 pm

This liberal judge should now replace this thug in jail for one year. Liberals like to see these thugs back on the streets for some unknown reason. More Judicial business or it’s to appease the black community for votes to help Devilcrat Party.

  • Tom Horn February 17, 2017, 12:38 pm

Along with removing idiot judges, we desperately need to change the broken family culture in America. Kids who grow up without a fathers in their lives (especially boys) are like a rudderless, compass-less ship heading for the rocks. When young males go around impregnating females like a bull elk working a harem, and then take no responsibility for raising their offspring afterwards, what can you expect?

Perhaps with need to prosecute these fathers for child neglect if it can be shown that they took no responsibility in raising and guiding their kids, that end up repeatedly in juvenile court.

    • Bob Moore February 18, 2017, 1:25 pm

These females who have sexual intercourse with every “bull elk” in town should also be held responsible for their actions. They know the stud is not going to marry them from the git-go, but they continue to whelp bastards like candy from a PEZ dispenser. Every additional baby is an increased welfare check.

  • Adam February 17, 2017, 11:30 am

I think the judge did right by the people by offering everything she could to this young man helping him keep his freedom. She had no way of knowing that he was going to be shoot and killed by police. As far as the police go they have the right to retreat but there are some that are out for the kill. The man had a gun and was running from the police he wasn’t shooting at the police he had been arrested before for guns, no shots fired, in those incidents. Justified or not that cop made a bad decision. I’m calling it like I see it. Jail would have saved his life from what an overzealous cop. I understand the policeman also had no way of knowipoint. This has a trickle down affect this affects all of us, and our second amendment rights. In my opinion for what its worth, police should all have to carry killamen triggers and two years prison for every shoot fired. Unless they are in a shot out then what ever it takes at that point. This cop fired 4 times, I wonder if he has a history of shootings or raciest profiling. As far as the dead guy…idiot he had it coming. The judge did good!

    • WhiteFalcon February 17, 2017, 12:07 pm

I think you need to spend a week in a cop’s shoes in a high crime area like Chicago or Detroit, or any of many others. Then you might even learn a thing or two. Also, you might take a basic course in English and learn to spell.

    • Doug February 17, 2017, 12:24 pm

Adam you need to get off the drugs dude. The idiot did everything he could to get shot and he finally got what he was asking for. Sad but true. Live like hell and you will finally get there.

    • Jim February 17, 2017, 12:24 pm

Adam, you must be a total liberal, left-wing IDIOT. If someone turns around and points a gun at me, like this punk did to the cop, l am SHOOTING FIRST in order to avoid being shot myself. What the fuck are YOU going to do if someone points a gun at you? Hope he doesn’t shirt first, or at all? You need to get in touch with reality, sir. The punk had been arrested for FOURTEEN drug and gun related charges. Oh no, he wouldn’t shoot you, though, would he. You idiot.

    • Jack Clark February 17, 2017, 12:36 pm

Wow, Really? Number one, if you watch the video you will see the criminal turn to face the LEO as he rounds the bus, with the gun being raised. Two, if the LEO was out to just gun the kid down, why chase him and waist all that effort when he could have shot him right off. Three, the reason I have my CCDW and carry is because of people like him (the repeat offending criminal) that carry and pull out weapons when ever they want, just to try to intimidate the rest of us into submission. Usually without training, certification, or regard for human life. Four, and because of people like you that believe that every morning every LEO wakes up thinking about chasing someone down the street guns blazing, just because of skin color. Handcuffing them, preventing them from doing what they chose to do when they took the job, which is protect us from the likes of the criminal with the gun. Second guessing every time they have to follow some suspect because they may not return home to their families or they may be charged with a crime because we didn’t give that criminal a fourth or fifth or sixth chance to kill me and my family. Thanks for worrying about that one criminal that chose his path instead of all the rest of society that he chose to put in harms way. Or how about the scores of people he chose to help ruin their lives and or end them with the drugs he sold to them. Yes, thanks for being a concerned citizen.

    • Les February 17, 2017, 12:46 pm

Yeah, I suppose this innocent black man was only doing his thing. That cop must have been a real racist for shooting this guy because he was a black. When will these overzealous cops quit profiling and shooting innocent black men? I mean, look at our prison population. 70% are black and they only make up 12% of our population. This must be a racist conspiracy. The cops must be targeting black men instead of asians and whites. Maybe we need to have an equal opportunity quota like they do for college and employment. For every black man they lock up, they have to throw in so many asians and whites. Obviously this young man was shot only because he was black. The crime was doing and the gun he was wielding was only part of his culture and his rights.

    • steve February 17, 2017, 12:48 pm

what kind of stupid bas^%$# are you????????????

    • C. Aldridge February 17, 2017, 1:30 pm

I used to be a peace officer. I probably would have done the same thing if I was put in this officer’s position. I never wanted to have to take a life, but if someone was pointing a weapon at me, The result would have been the same. The officer did what he had to do to be able to go home to his family. The suspect was not following the officer’s commands and got what he got as a result. Unless you are in the same situation, don’t second guess the officer’s decision. He has only a split second to make it, or possibly die. There are very few police officers who would want to shoot a suspect for no reason. This is more the judge’s fault than the officer’s.

    • Oaf February 17, 2017, 1:49 pm

No way this is a “real” post. With the obvious grammar errors and Lib talking points, he has to be some troll who wrote that to see how much outrage he could create. Don’t take the bait and just ignore the fool, he’ll soon return to mommy’s basement.

    • Joe February 17, 2017, 2:06 pm

The judge needs to be fired! Plain and simple. This criminal should not of been allowed on the streets after his 2nd arrest for the same crime. And he probably killed someone already and got away with it because you don’t deal drugs and guns without ever having to use them. And you “calling it like you see it” only shows the rest of society how blind and ignorant you are to the real world. Idiot.

    • Bryan February 17, 2017, 2:16 pm

Adam you are a total idiot and the judge should be removed from the bench immediately.

Maybe if you were there and right before he pulled the trigger on you…maybe you could have offered him a hug and all would have been well.

Scum, lowlife, criminals such as this should receive a well-earned lead bath. His parent(s) should have to reimburse for the rounds used to put him down.

Adam, it’s not just scum like this that is the problem, it’s people like you as well…wait until some guy like this comes after you or one of your family members, if he kills someone you love are you still going to talk about how it was not really his fault that he did it? Maybe give him a hug?

    • Rod boyd February 17, 2017, 2:30 pm

I hope you get shot and killed by some thug who was let out by a liberal ‘judge’. You have it coming.

    • brian member basket of deplorables February 18, 2017, 11:08 am

Adam , you are the problem! Liberal db’s like you are why the streets are crawling with illegal guns. You want to let him back out on the streets so he can go steal another gun from a law abiding citizen like me, while violating my home and possibly my family to get it. If they can’t behave lock them up!!!! If they can’t behave in prison end the burden on our civilized society. If that little bastard pointed a gun at me it would have only taken one shot. I would like to shake that police officers hand and thank him for his service and doing his job CORRECTLY. Your problem is you are a giver until it happens to YOU or YOUR FAMILY. You think you are caring for the good of people but you have to get rid of the rose colored glasses and draw a line and care for the people who are able to behave and act for the good of the people who are able to abide by the law set forth by our elected officials. As far as that judge goes she needs to be fired. I believe we need to rent Rodrigo Deurtae from the Phillipeans for a little while his policy on drugs and crime gets results. If we let him run the law in these big cities for a year each we may be able to move foreword.

    • Trevor Teague February 18, 2017, 6:00 pm

Holy libtard! He pointed a gun at a cop. Or do you not care about that part? His choices and actions lead to his death. Personal responsibility. He could’ve dropped his gun and surrendered. But instead, he ran and pointed his gun, looking like he was about to shoot. The officer did the right thing in putting down a rabid dog.

    • Miles Huggins February 19, 2017, 5:57 am

He pulled a gun and pointed it at a police officer are u stupid or what

    • Adam W February 21, 2017, 7:48 pm

Well Adam from another Adam you sir are a jackass “I’m just calling it the way it is” people like you are the reason America has become what it is today. How about you do something stupid like point a gun at a cop then you get shot. People need to start taking responsibility for their actions instead of blaming other people for their failures. The judge should have at least their judgeship takin from them.

  • Merlink February 17, 2017, 11:29 am

Another POS off the streets! Good decision making and marksmanship by the cop! Our so-called judicial system needs a Trump Overhaul.

  • Tommy Barrios February 17, 2017, 11:14 am

This is where ALL such Ghetto Thug Trash needs to be, DEAD!
Also the SORRY AZZ judge needs to be impeached and DISBARRED!
    ENOUGH OF THIS SHITE ALREADY!
    EOL!

  • Tom Horn February 17, 2017, 11:03 am

This case needs to be held up as an example. The exact same crap happens everyday in Chicago, and all the liberals can say is, “We’ve got to end the (imaginary) Gun Show Loop Hole.” Because, we all know that guns are evil, and access to guns made this man become a criminal.

Even a dog knows that if there is no punishment, the behavior will continue. Liberals, like Judge Taylor, can’t seem to grasp this simple concept.

    • Tommy Barrios February 17, 2017, 11:15 am

The GUN made him do it!

    • Jake February 18, 2017, 10:44 pm

Speaking of Chicago, there is little punishment for gun criminals. Of the 90 largest US cities Chicago has the lowest number of gun crime prosecutions. Perhaps the Sinaloa Cartel threatened to cut way back on campaign contributions to Democrats if they charge them with gun crimes when they commit gun crimes?

  • vinny February 17, 2017, 10:59 am

Trump is right. The judicial systen is broken from top to bottom in America.

  • Don February 17, 2017, 10:13 am

I would run from a guy covered in Tattoos pointing a gun at me too. That cop should have to wear long sleeves.

    • Mark February 17, 2017, 10:40 am

You shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover.

    • Alan February 17, 2017, 11:02 am

You mean the cop with the vest, clearly marked POLICE, and wearing all the crap a cop has to drag around like radio, gun, cuffs and so on, and with a body cam????? AND All the while YOU have a gun in our hand?!?!
      THAT tattooed guy?
If so, then you too deserve to be shot.

    • Edward Sauer February 17, 2017, 11:04 am

  • A.D. Roberts February 17, 2017, 10:13 am

Maybe Deal’s family will be able to file a wrongful death suit against Judge Taylor since he would not have died had the judge kept him in jail.
Time to get the attention of FAKE compassionate judges. She was not smart enough to be a judge.

  • CJ February 17, 2017, 10:12 am

Well he’s not on the streets anymore. Maybe the Judge was being prescient, and wanted to save the taxpayers the cost of the trial and incarceration.

    Good shooting detective.

  • MB February 17, 2017, 10:12 am

Three strikes applies here. 3 time loser got exactly what he was looking for and deserved. I guess the judge thought he would rehabilitate himself…. This is what happens when family units are destroyed by the welfare and social services systems, there was likely no father around to put his boot in this kid’s butt the first time he strayed…. Tough love works.

  • gary nobles February 17, 2017, 10:01 am

Our court system is in shambles. Our Judges have forgot what there job is. Our Prosecuters are not doing there job. My next question is, how much money is going under the table to the Judges, and Prosecuters? Judges and Prosecuters know these young people can not have money to make 100 to 200 thousand dallors to make BOND. Think it is time for the American Citizen to wake up to what is going on in our court system!!!!!!!!! Only one other place is more crooked, The Congress of the US.

  • Ironman February 17, 2017, 9:51 am

The problem doing something about the judges. There is little knowledge regarding our current judges when we go to vote. The judges names are on the ballot to be retained, or not. It doesn’t state their party affiliation, years as a judge, nothing. You hesitate to just vote them all off as someone might be new and trying to do a good job. In addition, you will probably get another liberal democrat judge in their place. Remember, your judges used to be ambulance chasers. They probably weren’t very good lawyers, which is why they became a judge.

    • C Aldridge February 17, 2017, 1:07 pm

Judges are not supposed to have a party affiliation. If they come up for election, it is your duty to look into what the judge’s record of convictions, sentences, and case outcomes is. Then you can make an educated vote about them.

  • R.L. Houser February 17, 2017, 9:49 am

So many times we see our police officers have to go before a review board or trial after shooting a dangerous law breaker. I think in cases such as this the JUDGE who released this dangerous offender should be REQUIRED to go before a review board which will decide his capacity to continue serving and have to defend his decision during the review.
Oh yes, Maryland, how is gun control working? Or, how can a law breaker obtain guns so easily? Its not your fault and you can always blame it on a neighboring state as you always do. No responsibility for the upper end of law enforcement but let the police officer make a mistake and he is held responsible to the 10th degree. You the judge should also be responsible!!

  • Just ask Trump February 17, 2017, 9:39 am

Some judges are a large threat to a decent America.
Here in St. Louis I have sympathy for Chief Dotson, a man whom I seldom agree with.
He states “The police department is doing it’s job. we arrest these people and the court just keeps turning them back on the streets”.
In my opinion the liberals needs these kinda of people to keep shooting stats up where they stand a chance to have public sympathy to back them up while they disarm America.
After all, they can’t screw us until we bleed while we are armed.
Fast and Furious? It’s been going on in America but the government is using the inner city poor and liberal judges to spread mayhem and so called “Gun violence” in the hopes of disarming America.

    • vinny February 17, 2017, 11:14 am

I agree with every syllable here. There is so much subversive activity in the system today.Like the Iran Contra deal and the Fast and Furious caper, you can never tell what these govt squads are doing to promote their agenda.Yellowcake from Africa.

  • Daniel A Ryan February 17, 2017, 9:27 am

Better yet, in my opinion this so called judge should be arrested and charged with accessory before the fact in the death of this punk, she had to know that this would end badly, and if she didn’t then she is a total idiot. She has a delusional sense of self importance that causes her to believe that criminals will obey her just because she gave them a good talking to.

    • Kurt Heinlein February 17, 2017, 9:38 am

Have you ever been to Baltimore? This kind of stupidity is the reason why almost the whole city is a cesspool!

  • Wayne Clemon February 17, 2017, 9:25 am

if he hadn’t been put out on the streets again he’d still be alive. I hope Judge Taylor thinks long and hard on that fact, he’s more responsible for the death than the cop.

  • B Cubed February 17, 2017, 9:19 am

Maryland requires a permit to purchase, registration of firearms, licensing of owners and permit to carry. That’s four more charges. Question to Maryland legislators. How are these laws working out for the residents of Maryland?

  • Eric Haulenbeek February 17, 2017, 9:09 am

Thugs like this have to be locked up for life, or put down. There’s no place for them in a civil society. All the BS we here about “racial inequality” in our world today is just that… BS. It’s an excuse for this kind of “out of control” behavior. If you can’t play by the rules, prepare to be neutralized at some point, and the sooner the better as far as I’m concerned.

You all is racist. He was on his way to take his mamma to church and the white racist pigs done kilt him ded.

Obviously sarcasm. Good riddance. Need to take the piece of dung judge out and shoot her too.

  • Larry C. February 17, 2017, 7:36 am

This POS most likely has never known a father. His mother did not have time for him as she probably had been occupied surviving in some way. I will bet all this year’s income that the judge voted for Hillary! As certain sign of mental illness is when a person stubbornly votes Democrat.

  • JGlnNJ February 17, 2017, 7:33 am

The kid’s behavior was not “normal”, even for a criminal. What I see from the outside is extreme case of mental illness, extraordinarily high suicidal behavior. We do have to protect our defenders and our communities from this type of individual. We also can do more to protect the mentally ill from themselves. The judge wants to be sympathetic to a troubled disadvantaged youth who is just one opportunity way from turning himself around, but one can be just as sympathetic in understanding serious brain damage or other abnormality or sickness that needs to be dealt with before more damage is done. At the very least there would be less street cred given to someone who was sent to an insane asylum rather than a common jail, and that might have a deterrent effect on the more normal criminals.

    • JD February 17, 2017, 8:27 am

For crying out loud can we just stop blaming all bad behavior and bad choices on mental illness! If this jerk was competent enough to find and acquire guns, drugs and money all the while running a drug business and managing to feed and shelter himself, guess what? HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING WAS WRONG! That’s one of the differences between having a mental illness and having disrespect for the laws and people around you! This is one of the “derailing points” of society. This country isn’t prefect but it’s still the best place in the world and believe it or not it’s still one of the very few places on this planet where no matter what; you have a chance, a chance to try and be whatever you want. This guy chose to be a gun fighting, drug dealing, law braking criminal. “He chose that, not voices in his head, not the place he lived, not the color of his skin, not that his dad wasn’t around, not that society is/was against him, HE CHOSE IT.” The 3 other court appearances were his warning signs to stop. NOT Mental Illness!

      • Jack Clark February 17, 2017, 12:41 pm

        Amen!

    • Tom kaz February 17, 2017, 8:53 am

Stop the candy a$$ donkey chips. This was a wise a$$ thug. Any person ( black, white, green, purple or blue) that believes that the color of you skin determines your right to point a gun at a police officer, deserves what they get. The detective committed a community service in my book.

    • David Brantley February 17, 2017, 9:05 am

Your diagnosis is in error. Mentally deficient perhaps, but not mentally ill in the medical sense. Fifth generation government dole produces individuals who have no concept of personal or social responsibility. It is noteworthy that he made it to age 18 without being killed by a co-felon in his ecosphere.

    • Rivahmitch February 17, 2017, 9:23 am

You’re just trying to justify the little PoS and give it an excuse. Killing it was a public service.

    • Alan February 17, 2017, 11:09 am

      Really?
You have a degree in the field, do you? Please point out the areas YOU see as showcasing his “extreme”mental illness.
That’s utter nonsense, his only evident attitude was one of self preservation, at the cost of others as exemplified by his having a gun, and then pointing that gun at a cop.
Extreme aggression and self centered actions are NOT a sign of ‘mental illness’, but that of societal callousness to the welfare of others.

  • Rio B. February 17, 2017, 7:25 am

This may seem harsh, but if we had laws that required the courts, and the judges in particular, to guarantee the bail-bonds we might put an end to these absurd “libtard” court decisions. After the third such stupid decision the judge should automatically and permanently be removed from the bench for they, themselves, being the danger to society, which they most certainly are.

  • Donald Hall February 17, 2017, 7:16 am

Somehow, we the people, have to reign in these judges and make huge consequences for them when they make decisions that effect so many lives in such a horrible way. These judges sit on a throne and s!?t on all of us who are law abiding real citizens.
We currently have the opportunity, in Washington, to make the consequences happen. Starting with supporting the current Supreme Court nominee. After that we go after the lawyers.
    MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD!!!!

  • Joeboy5471 February 17, 2017, 7:00 am

Never run from the police. You might die tried. Given the history of the individual the police needed and were justified in what they did. 99.999 % of law enforcement do not want to shoot a suspect unless they must and it is justified.

  • Paul February 17, 2017, 6:53 am

Just another POS off the streets

  • T-Bone February 17, 2017, 6:38 am

Judge Taylor should know that she is responsible for the kid’s death and for the emotional stress of the officers for putting them in a position that required them to fire upon the kid. Chances are that he would not have been rehabilitated in prison, but he would have had an opportunity to turn his life around. Ultimately, it is Deal’s poor life choices that ended in his death, but the judge could have saved him from himself, at least for a decade or two behind bars. On the other side, prison is not a safe place for anyone, it breeds better criminals, and it is temporary for most prisoners. In many aspects, it was better for Deal and society that it ended the way it did.

    • CW February 17, 2017, 9:06 am

This judge should have to undergo a review. How many other recidivist bad guys has he put back on the street at the risk of citizens and police officers who once again have to put him under arrest. Had this judge followed the law rather than a liberal mindset Deal who had already defied him twice would have been held without bail until his nest trial. This Judge Nichole Taylor must be removed from the bench. Even if this was an isolated mistake it is a grievous one that should not be allowed to happen again.

  • Bernie February 17, 2017, 6:29 am

What ever happened to”Let the punishment fit the crime”?The so called judge should be removed from the bench for not doing her job.

  • Mark Tercsak February 17, 2017, 6:04 am

I am very happy to leave a comment.
The Judge in question should be FIRED.

She is a menace to society to release a dangerous individual like this back into society, is like releasing a lion who has not eaten in a month into a human populated area and expecting the Lion not to eat.

The Judge lacks common sense !
    She should be disbarred !

Just like the Four Federal Judges in the Trump Case.

  • Jimmy February 17, 2017, 5:26 am

The judges in Baltimore are such complete, liberal fools, fools I say!!!! Well, wonder why Baltimore is such a huge black mess, like Chicago and on and on….hope they are all so proud.

  • Dan K February 17, 2017, 5:13 am

So, just how many gun crimes CAN they do before they need to be off the streets?

I think that attitude right there is the root of the problem with Chicago and gun control. There are laws on the books that could be used to address the crimes but Chicago and other jurisdictions don’t use those laws. Instead, they keep piling on more laws that impair the right of the law abiding citizen to protect themselves from the criminals they “justice” system fails to address.

In this case, the judge clearly failed in their duty to protect the public and that resulted in the death of the criminal.

  • Johnny G February 17, 2017, 5:10 am

Fortunately cops are not trained to shoot to slightly injure or graze or such like they are trained to shoot to stop the threat …good riddance to another thug type there will be many more to deal with and glad to see Al Sharpton and the Black lives matter (HOMELAND TERRORISTS) haven’t become involved…need Mr Trump to have homeland security round up the BLM terrorists and put them in jail along with hilary

  • Joe February 17, 2017, 4:52 am

Just another thug holding his trial in the street.
You can thank the LIBERAL progressive state Of Maryland for this brand of Justice that the Judge thought proper for this thug who murdered by proxy with his product called Heroin .

  • Jerry February 17, 2017, 3:46 am

They pile on more and more firearm laws that only you and I follow while refusing to enforce existing laws. Here is a guy with multiple illegal firearm possession and drug charges and they let him walk free while he waits what may be a year for a trial. Our cities don’t have a gun problem, they have a gang problem and they only way our leaders can see to solve the gang violence problem is to disarm the entire nation.

  • SuperG February 16, 2017, 11:32 am

I’m glad no cops died because of this criminal. But I’m especially glad the criminal died. It is not “wrong” for me to say that either. You are given many chances to be an honest and productive citizen, and when you fail at that, I have zero sympathy for you. It is often said that a criminal is apprehended for 20% of his crimes, so who know how many people he hurt in his short life. If it were up to me, I’d hold his parents responsible for him being so worthless to society.

  • Mike D. February 16, 2017, 10:29 am

A total of 13 gun charges plus drugs- Sure, he should be out on the streets free to attend school! How else is he going to make bail money if he doesn’t have access to his victims?
At some point families, society, and the criminal justice system has to step up. The police cannot do everything, although they did in this case.

    • Bruce047 February 18, 2017, 1:01 am

Adam, I can’t believe idiots like you exist.
Like others said, maybe you can defend yourself with a hug.
The POS got what he deserved. To bad it wasn’t sooner.
