I had the chance to check out B4 Armory’s latest creation at Shot Show 2025, and wow, they’re about to shake up the precision rifle world with an updated CSS (Concealable Sniper System).
Rob from B4 Armory walked me through the details of this innovative system, and it’s safe to say it’s got me pretty excited.
If you’re into high-performance firearms, you’re going to want to keep an eye on this. Check out our video of the CSS from SHOT Show 2025 to see it right now!

New This Year
The rifle is an updated, compact version of something we’ve seen first at SHOT Show 2024, but with a bunch of significant upgrades that revolve around a new chassis.
With the new changes, this setup is fast—like, take it out of the bag and put it together in just a few seconds. But it’s not just about speed; the precision and accuracy of this rifle are where it really stands out.
This rifle features a 16.5-inch carbon fiber barrel chambered in .308 (one of the optional upgrades), and here’s the kicker: it’s priced at an MSRP of $9,499.95 but right now, it’s on sale for $7,499.95.
Yes, this is expensive. Unfortunately for some, it is not targeting the common gun owner. This is a purpose-built rifle system capable of executing covert missions with extreme stealth and precision where lives are on the line.

Standout Features
The rifle includes one serialized steel barrel, but B4 Armory has made it easy to add more barrels to your package in the future.
Since the barrels are serialized to the action, you can swap them out without needing to send the system back to the company. This makes it super convenient if you want to switch calibers or barrel lengths in the future.

One of the most impressive features is the “retained zero” functionality. Once you’ve zeroed the scope, you can disassemble and reassemble the rifle—barrel and all—and it will retain its point of impact without needing to confirm zero again.
That’s a huge time-saver, especially in the field or during competitions.

Another feature that caught my eye is the O’Jiv action. This is a hybrid push/control round feed with manual ejection, which is something you don’t see every day.
It also boasts a new 75° bolt and an elevated integral rail for better optical alignment, especially when using clip-ons. This rifle isn’t just fast and accurate; it’s built for versatility and precision.

To Be Available Soon
As cool as the system is right now, it’s not quite finished yet. Still, it is expected to be complete and start shipping within the coming few months. There are still a few refinements to be made before shipping, including changing the handguard’s thumbscrew clamp to a cam-lock that will clamp with over 500 ft/lbs of force.
This cam-lock will be mounted on the left side of the chassis, making it easier for right-handed shooters to assemble the rifle quickly. There will also be changes to the folding hinge for the buttstock, with B4 Armory developing a new hinge that’s unique to this rifle. This updated hinge will allow for a single-fold, over-the-bolt design, which will make the rifle easier to break down if needed for different missions.
Additionally, the buttstock will have adjustable cam-lock systems for both the cheekpiece height and buttpad length of pull. This means you can quickly modify the rifle to accommodate body armor or heavy coats, making it ideal for various field conditions/missions.

Still to Come
Once this model ships, B4 Armory will move on to developing a long-action version of the rifle. They’ve already figured out how to do it with minimal changes, so I expect the long-action version to be available soon after the short-action model starts shipping.
If you’re in the market for something that can compete with big names like Barrett and AI, this system is definitely one to watch—and honestly, I think it has what it takes to come out on top.
I’m really excited to see where B4 Armory takes this, and I think this rifle is going to turn a lot of heads once it hits the market. It’s definitely one to keep an eye on in the coming months!
