One is a new compition gun that bares Jerry Miculek’s name and the other is a winter themed hunting shotgun. Both of these new lines are pretty cool and one of them is down right cold.

They may not have the fanciest fit and finish or every bell and whistle, but they flat out run. There were two stand outs in the new guns Tristar had at SHOT this year. One is a tactical AR styled shotgun and the other is a single barrel trap gun.

They have taken the WWII German StG 44 and updated it while still retaining the original looks. The biggest news is that they will be available in calibers other than the hard to find original 8mm Kurz. It will come in 5.56, 7.62×39 and 300 Blackout in addition to the original 7.92×33.

3 Reed Duck Call From Sure-Shot –SHOT Show 2016

Getting the 3 reeds right is not an easy trick. It is very easy to end up with an overly thick stack of reeds that are unresponsive and dull sounding. From what we heard in the booth at SHOT Show, Sure Shot Game Calls has got it right, and they’re bringing the Triple Reed back.
