The Buffalo Bill Center of the West houses five museums, but I was there to check out the Cody Firearms Museum.

Speed Beez makes a variety of tools to make loading your guns easier.  The company got its start making speedloaders, moon clips, and other tools for revolver shooters. 

Sept 17th, the Western Precision Rifle series put on its Zero Dark 30 Muffle Shuffle match for the 4th year in a row at the Cody Shooting Complex in Cody, WY. Cool name, but what is it? The Muffle Shuffle is a precision rifle style match modeled after the PRS competition series, but with a twist.

The Vudoo was out of my price range and I was impresses by the 457 so I set out to see how far I could go to make the 457 challenge the Vudoo.

Sometimes I like to do dumb things with firearms.  Dumb as in use it in the ways they were never intended to be used. One day while bored earlier this year I decided it was time to bring the Garand back to life.

What has more than 500 guns and fires almost a half million rounds of ammunition over three days?  Sig Freedom Days had all that and more!

Last year I had an itch to start shooting a new division in Steel Challenge. I specifically wanted to shoot in Rimfire Pistol Open aka RFPO. At the time, the Ruger Mark IV pistols were going for $800 and up. Not wanting to spend that much, I started looking at other options and was intrigued when I came across the newly released Taurus TX22 Competition.

Across all the matches, test, and practice sessions with the JP5, I had 4 rounds fail to fire.  Examination afterward showed that three had backward primers and one had a sideways primer so all failures were the fault of the guy reloading the ammo (me for 3 of the 4) and not the fault of the JP5.

 For the past five weeks, I have been shooting and evaluating the most expensive and innovative PCC on the market, the new JP5 from JP Enterprises.
