Stopping by the LWRCI booth at the SHOT Show 2024 range day, I noticed they just announced the launch of the new IC-9 in three models, the IC-9 16’ Carbine, IC-9 8.5 SBR and IC-9 8.5 Pistol.

Speaking to the Bushmaster representative, he said “This brings back that classic vibe of the M-16 look. It’s not an M-16, but that look is here, and people really resonate with it when they roll off the booth.”

Both rifles, while featuring the same action, offer distinct styles. The Areo model boasts modern furniture, including an adjustable cheek comb and a full rail for accessories.

The thermal fitting process contributes to bolt-like accuracy, achieving sub MOA in the 10.3 model and a remarkable half MOA in the 16-inch rifles.
