Throwback to early 2020, and FN released their smallest handgun in decades: the FN 503. Geared towards conceal-ability, FN states that “compromises in shootability, accuracy, and reliability with slim CCW handguns are solved.” This pistol utilizes single stack magazines to give it a total width of 1.1 inches. The slim design makes concealed carrying easier and more comfortable than other large options. 

With the delivery of the G45 magnifiers starting in early 2021, EOTECH has been ramping up production to meet demand. People have been very interested in the benefits the G45 provides over the tried and true G33. First and foremost, the G45 comes in with 5X magnification whereas the G33 was only 3X, and I am a big fan.

Midwest Industries recently announced their Night Fighter M-Lok rail which is geared toward Night Vision shooters. This rail is designed to be more rigid to reduce lasers’ point-of-impact shifts. By bulking up and keeping more 6061 aluminum in this rail compared to some of their previous options, the Night Fighter looks promising. Having a history of providing great products at affordable prices, I was immediately very interested in this new option.

As one who switches between day and night optics often, quick detach or QD mounts have been an excellent tool in my toolbox. While QD mounts were always convenient, many people worry about what accuracy they may be sacrificing by not utilizing a fixed mount. Weighing in at 4.5 oz and being less than an inch thick, this ATF-approved brace definitely fit the bill. Thin, lightweight, foldable, and comfortable enough to be shouldered? Count me in!
