An armed North Carolina woman stepped in and saved a fellow citizen last week after he was shot in the face.

A California homeowner fired his concealed gun last weekend to protect his wife and baby after armed intruders attacked him. 

A Washington homeowner shot at three masked men last week after they attempted to kick his door in, claiming to be police. 

The woman and her husband had heard the intruder yelling from outside. He claimed to be injured and was insisting he be let inside. 

The situation took a surprising turn when one of the suspects tried to drive the car but realized it was a stick shift. 

Failing to operate the standard transmission, the suspect exited the vehicle. He returned to his own car, where the other suspect was waiting.
