A Wisconsin Walmart manager recently followed store policy in Northern Wisconsin. They interacted with a long term friend of mine.

Instead of reprieve, Monday offered a bucket of cold water thrown on those hopes and expectations. The lingering question remains. Why?

Democratic candidates were finally forced to take questions on their plans for gun control. None of the answers were original and offered only ignorance of facts, vilification and double-speak.

The proposal – HB 569, introduced by Democrat Delegate Dan Helmer, would give the Commonwealth’s Attorney General Mark Herring unilateral say over which states to allow reciprocity in Virginia and which states he could now disallow.

So why do we continue to hear these claims of murderous attackers dropped like 2-foot putts by cops and private citizens who appear to possess sidearms from Thor’s hammer factory?

Though I’ve owned and enjoyed a pistol-grip Mossberg 500 for many years, no other firearm I’ve ever handled more brutally and thoroughly drives home the fact that true point-shooting is a heck of a lot harder than the average person would think.

Some believe that any shooter who doesn’t reload is a fool; others believe that their time is worth more than the money they might save reloading.
