The Colt LE6940 is a monolithic upper AR-style carbine built for 5.56x45mm NATO (works with .223 Rem). It features a 16.1 inch chrome-lined, 1:7 twist free-float barrel integrated into a one-piece monolithic upper receiver with continuous MIL-STD-1913 top rail and additional rails at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. The rifle ships with folding, low-profile adjustable backup iron sights (Magpul MBUS Pro) and a 4-position collapsible buttstock.
