Spanish Mauser model 1943 aka rifle is stamped 7.92 wood is solid with nice grain and clear metal has nice bluing with some minor imperfections bore is bright and shiny with strong with any military surplus firearm we recommend it be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to use.
