| 7/22/2016 | ★ Harrington & Richardson The rifle I purchased was described as "used,minor wear". I think the barrel being cut down by 2 inches should have been noteworthy. The tag that was still attached when I received the gun clearly states a 22" barrel. My measurement revealed a 20" barrel. From the looks of it, I'd suspect somebody went after it with a hacksaw. I have yet to see if this shrewd alteration has a negative affect on this firearms accuracy. 7/22/2016 | Harrington & Richardson | The rifle I purchased was described as "used,minor wear". | 7/17/2016 | ★ Smith and Wesson 4th Model .38 Cal Gun not as advertised. Barrel bore was filthy on receipt. Cleaning of the bore revealed moderate pitting in the forward third of the barrel. No mention of it in the ad. In fact, quite the opposite. Ad stated seller always cleaned and inspected bores before selling and that bore was fine. Gun had been refinished, but no mention of it in the ad. New bluing covered original trigger color case finish.
