It is chambered in .45 Long Colt with a 5.5 in round barrel and a six-shot, half-fluted cylinder. The revolver is fitted with an Army-size walnut grip, blued triggerguard and backstrap, a fixed blade front sight and a rear sight notch in the frame. The action is single-action and it uses a manual cylinder pin safety.
