The Daniel Defense M4A1 Mil Spec+ is built around a 14.5" cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel in an M4 profile with a 1:7" rifling twist. It uses a carbine-length gas system with a pinned low-profile gas block and ships with a pinned & welded extended Daniel Defense flash suppressor (extends overall length to NFA-required 16"). A free-floating M4A1 RIS II rail system provides a continuous top rail and accessory real estate without affecting barrel harmonics.
