The DDM4 V7 SLW is a super-lightweight AR-15 style rifle built around a cold hammer-forged 14.5" lightweight profile barrel with a pinned-and-welded extended Daniel Defense flash suppressor to meet overall length requirements. The rifle uses a mid-length gas system for smoother cycling and reduced perceived recoil. The free-floating MFR 13.5" M-LOK handguard provides multiple M-LOK attachment positions and an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny top rail for mounting optics or sights.
