This is a #5 MK 1 .303 that has gone through the re-arsenal process or an importers refinish and look unfired since. I cannot see any import stampings or electro pencil markings on the rifle. The serial number is, A4136, making this a Fazakerley produced rifle.
The black enamel finish on the metal is 98% with a few marks on the barrel, top of the front sight guard, and the leading edge of the flash hider on the top left. The finish did obscure the #5 MK1 stampings on the left side of the receiver and you have to look closely to see them.
The numbers match on the bolt handle, rear receiver band, and stock. The bolt handle is the correct "light weight" one with the large hole in the knob. It has an R.F.I. stamped bolt head. It has the correct ladder rear sight stamped MS. The follower in the mag is stamped M/56 and you can see from the finish that this mag was used. The finish on the outside matches the new looking black enamel of the rest of the rifle. The stock looks like it had a front cap at one time and there is a rubber butt plate that looks new. There is a web sling attached.
Re-arsenal or importers refinish? Tough to tell which but the rifle looks great. I can send all the close up pics of the rifle if you request them. You of course have the 3 day NON firing inspection period.
Price is plus actual shipping to your FFL who must be willing to accept from a NON licensee.
