This is a very nice WW2 Garand. It's a CMP rifle from the arsonal at Anniston AL. All USGI, Rifle comes with CMP hard case, paper work and Certification. Rifle is all USGI and somehow came thru with a barrel that is practicly un-used. Barrel is dated 1/53 Korean war. Readings are Muzzle 1+ Throat 2+ the bores rifling is excellent. Nice WW2 walnut stock showing beautiful redish brown color. P stamped in grip and a SA and part of a Wheeled cannon stamp on the right side. Rifles like these are getting hard to come by and will only increase in value within just a couple years from now. With this barrel you can shoot this rifle for the rest of your life and pass it on to your grand kids without wearing it out. Selling due to my age (79) and health, I love these guns but it's time to move on. See target I shot on 11/25 from 100 yard bench using Lake City 30 Cal Ball ammo.
