Seller Description

Another great piece of American history for sale here. When John Moses Browning brought his patented Browning Auto 5, back to the US to be manufactured he commissioned Remington to make it here. The model 11 was made on the Browning patent and is long recoil and humpback exactly like the Belgium made A5. This one appears to be in fine shape as far as being functional. Remington says it was manufactured in 1946. The barrel and receiver are in good shape with no rust, but not much of the original bluing remains. The furniture is in poor condition with the stock missing a couple of pieces up close to the receiver and the forend has a spot broken off it as well. Repro stocks and forends are available for this shotgun and if it doesn't sell I'll probably restore and shoot it. The barrel length is 25" and it is plain barrel with fixed imp choke. It is of course semi auto and shoots 2 3/4" shells only. $300 0bo. 817 658 9830. More pics available on request.
